A recurring theme in the WWE is their lack of consistency. The company has always had a problem following through with storylines, character development and corporate policy.

The storylines and character development issues are self evident, however the corporate aspect may need a bit of explanation. When the WWE makes a rule for the rosters, they pick and choose who they want to enforce it on. This can be seen with their wellness policy, and how certain wrestlers can fail the company wellness test multiple times, yet still be permitted to stay with the company.

Another area where the WWE doesn’t show consistency is with their Hall of Fame inductees. Whether or not a person deserves to go into the Hall of Fame based on merit is a separate story. What we are talking about here is who deserves to stay in despite personal conduct. The past year has already shown that the WWE will remove even the most iconic of wrestlers, having removed both Jimmy Snuka and the Immortal Hulk Hogan.

This year a grand jury concluded that Jimmy Snuka was responsible for the 1983 death of his then girlfriend Nancy Argentinio. After being charged for third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter, Superfly was immediately removed from the WWE Hall of Fame for his personal conduct. Snuka’s removal was the second of this year following Hulk Hogan’s racist remarks being leaked to the public by Gawker in late July.

Both cases show that WWE is willing to remove a legend from their Hall of Fame if they feel that it is warranted, but in a way it shows their hypocrisy. Hogan isn’t the first to make racial slurs and Snuka isn’t the first to be implicated in a felony, yet those Superstars are still in the Hall of Fame.

Today we will highlight 15 other WWE Hall of Famers who should be removed based on personal conduct that has taken place after away from the world of wrestling. Granted, some of these incidents occurred a long time ago and some incidents could be attributed to the talent going through a bad time in their life. We're not here to be the judge, we're just searching for consistency if WWE wants to play this game. As stated before, this isn’t a list of people who didn’t deserve inductions, but rather a list that applies the same standards used for Snuka and Hogan's removal. For most of the list, we'll be focusing on allegations, accusations for flat out proof of transgressions that surfaced after the HOF induction so we could follow the examples of Snuka and Hogan, save for some extreme cases.

As always feel free to leave any comments below, and let us know your opinion on who should be removed from the Hall of Fame.

16 15. Antonio Inoki

Antonio Inoki is best known for creating New Japan Pro Wrestling, and deserved his induction into the Hall of Fame in 2010. However given how patriotic the WWE is, it is a wonder how they feel about Inoki’s ties to the country of North Korea.

Inoki has made 30 trips to the country, trying to promote wrestling to the Korean people. WWE would have to seriously reconsider Inoki in their Hall of Fame if any conflict were to break out between the United States and North Korea.

15 14. Donald Trump

If WWE is trying to expand their Latino audience, then why is Donald Trump still in their Hall of Fame? The outspoken businessman/presidential candidate has made so many controversial comments about other races, that this writer had to actually wade through them to find the strongest (worst?) one.

Since Triple H has been searching for the next big Latino star, we will stick to Trump's comments about Latin Americans. If WWE eventually opens up a physical Hall of Fame maybe they shouldn’t put this quote about Mexicans on Trump’s plaque:

“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.”

14 13. Andre the Giant

What do Bad News Brown and Kamala both have in common? Well if you guessed that they were both black you’d be right, but that’s not the answer we were looking for. Apparently they both share the distinction of being called the “N” word by Andre the Giant.

Apparently the WWE doesn’t publicize the fact that the former WWE Champion dropped the “N” bomb quite often back in the day. If Hogan has been dropped due to his racist statements, Andre’s actions shouldn’t go unnoticed.

13 12. Verne Gagne

via photobucket.com
via photobucket.com

A legend of wrestling, Verne Gagne is best remembered for being the owner of the AWA, training of multiple Hall of Famers, and being one of only six wrestlers to be inducted into every single wrestling Hall of Fame.

Gagne is less remembered for throwing a 97-year-old man to the ground and proceeding to “stretch” him leading to complications that would eventually result in his death. Although Gagne didn’t remember doing the deed, he was still responsible for the death of another person, and if we are going the way of Jimmy Snuka, it means he should be removed from the WWE Hall of Fame.

12 11. Iron Sheik

The outspoken and often vulgar Iron Sheik entered the Hall of Fame in 2005, before the idea of social media became prevalent in WWE. There is absolutely no way that the former WWE Champion would have been inducted if twitter were around then, because he is absolutely insane.

Sheik’s twitter account is filled with rants, profanities, and phrases that could be taken as homophobic. If any person employed by WWE said a quarter of what the Iron Sheik has said, they would be fired instantly.

11 10. Greg Valentine

The WWE is trying to push the notion that the talents and merits of women matter to them. They claim to be starting a women's revolution in wrestling. How is there a place in the Hall for Greg Valentine then, who made some despicable comments regarding the role of women in wrestling? Here were some of The Hammer's comments:

"As far as girl wrestling, I would send them all out to the strip bar and fire ’em,” said Valentine. “I’d fire every girl wrestler I ever saw. They don’t draw any money, they have horrible matches. Uh … they’re terrible. That’s the way I feel. They take away jobs from men that need to support their families. They should be home washing dishes and cooking and pregnant and barefoot.”

How the hell is this deemed acceptable? That's about as sexist as you could get. For God's sake, Stephanie McMahon is set to inherit the WWE empire! If the WWE really wants to do something of importance for their women, they would rid themselves of anybody who feels this way about the place of women in wrestling and in society.

9 9. Arnold Schwarzenegger

There are a few different reasons WWE could remove Arnold Schwarzenegger from the Hall of Fame celebrity wing. First, the former California Governor has been outspokenly positive when referring to his use of steroids to achieve his build, which is counter intuitive of their wellness policy. Secondly, he has been linked to sexual misconduct on multiple occasions throughout the past decade, so many in fact that he and his wife divorced over it; sexual misconduct doesn’t really fit with the women’s revolution in WWE right now.

8 8. Ric Flair

via wwe.com

Ric Flair is arguably the greatest of all time, if not first, definitely in the top three in the history of wrestling. Maybe that is the reason that WWE has given him so much leeway when dealing with his antics over the years.

If we are looking at his criminal record objectively, Flair has had way more than three strikes since being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He has been publicly intoxicated multiple times at WWE events and even a road rage assault.

If personal character has any bearing on Hall of Fame status, Flair should be removed immediately.

7 7. Carlos Colon

via bleacherreport.com
via bleacherreport.com

The only reason Carlos Colon is this low on the list, is because there is no evidence that actually puts him at fault in the murder of Frank “Bruiser” Brody. Brody was killed in Puerto Rico in 1988 by a man name Jose Gonzalez during a house show. The current theory is that Colon, who was the Hulk Hogan of Puerto Rico at the time, was complicit in the murder; many believe that he hired the hit.

Other Hall of Famers and former WWE Superstars like Tony Atlas, and Zeb Coulter were in attendance that night, but have always remained silent about what they saw. Though there isn't proof, WWE may have made a poor decision with his induction into the Hall.

6 6. Mike Tyson

There was a time that Mike Tyson was literally the baddest man on the planet, who could only be stopped by a sexual assault conviction in 1992. Unlike others who beat their case, Tyson actually went to prison and is still listed as a registered sex offender; which means that WWE has a sex offender in their Hall of Fame.

Understandably Tyson has changed his life since his conviction over two decades ago, but if kids could “google Chyna” and find out what she did, why couldn’t they do the same to Tyson?

5 5. Sunny

via fanpop.com
via fanpop.com

Speaking of Chyna, she isn’t in the Hall of Fame for doing adult videos, which would make sense if not for the fact that current Hall of Famer Sunny does personalized cam shows for guys every night.

Yes the original Diva has been doing Skype videos for paying customers for a little while now, and rumors have been swirling that she will actually be doing adult films in the near future. Though they can’t really say anything about her skype “chats”, they can if she pulls the trigger on the adult films and WWE will have to either boot her out of the Hall of Fame or induct Chyna.

4 4. Scott Hall

The Bad Guy has come a long way since he was brought back to sobriety in 2013 with the help of Diamond Dallas Page. His efforts were recognized by WWE when he received his induction into the Hall of Fame less than a year after changing his life.

What they don’t seem to bring up is the fact that Hall was charged with a second degree murder over a girl in 1983. Hall says it was an accident, and he may have been charged more severely if not for the lack of evidence according to police. Hall has had constant run-ins with the law including for public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting a police officer.

3 3. Fabulous Moolah

via onlineworldofwrestling.com
via onlineworldofwrestling.com

While it’s true that the Fabulous Moolah paved the way for women in the wrestling industry, there are also stories that accuse her of being the leader of a major prostitution ring during the 60s, 70s, and 80s. The trailblazer allegedly encouraged her female trainees to use sex as a means to progress in the wrestling industry.

Former WWE talent Luna recalled a time when she was 16 and training with Moolah, where she was forced to attend a private photoshoot with an older man. Though she remained mostly clothed, Luna stated that she felt like she was taken advantage of.

Other claims have been made over the years, but since most took place during the days of kayfabe, no proof has ever been presented.

2 2. The Ultimate Warrior

via businesswire.com
via businesswire.com

The Ultimate Warrior has said some moronic things over the years, but his blatant homophobic rhetoric was way more malicious than anything Hulk Hogan has ever said in regards to race.

Warrior went on record on his website multiple times to describe how homosexuality was not really his cup of tea, publishing things like “Queering don’t make the world work”, and “I saw Bendover Brokeback...and I had no choice but to give myself over to the passion of it’s wide open range, if you get my drift”.

Mind you that WWE made a huge deal a year earlier about Darren Young coming out as one of the first openly gay Superstars. It makes you wonder whether or not the WWE supports Warrior’s beliefs, since he is an active member of the HOF. There's even an award for courage in his honor!

His most disgusting comments may have been about Hurricane Katrina, claiming what happened in New Orleans back in 2005 wasn't a big loss. He went as far as to say the city was a cesspool of decadence and depravity. "Their lives were already in ruin — self ruin. Ruined by the bad choices they made over and over." Ironically, Warrior was inducted last year in where else but New Orleans.

1 1. Abdullah the Butcher

via Pro Wrestling Illustrated
via Pro Wrestling Illustrated

Abdullah the Butcher is most famous for literally butchering himself and his opponents until they were bloody beyond recognition. In fact Abdullah has bladed himself so many times that he has signature rivets in the top of his head, so deep that poker chips can stand up in them.

Abdullah never strayed from blading. The problem with his blood lust, is that he knowingly would mix blood with other wrestlers, after becoming aware of contracting Hepatitis C. The Butcher actually lost a lawsuit for $2.3 million for his negligence in 2014, meaning that WWE has a criminal disease transmitter in their Hall of Fame.
