15 Wrestlers You Didn't Realize Are Stepparents

Many Superstars have signed with WWE and then gone on to find their future husbands or wives while being with the company.

The likes of Beth Phoenix and Edge, Brock Lesnar and Sable, Michelle McCool and The Undertaker, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, AJ Lee and CM Punk, Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan, and Nikki Bella and John Cena have all had successful relationships after meeting in WWE and have managed to stay together. These couples are only rare examples, as the success rate of couples in WWE isn't as high as the unsuccessful one sadly.

Many Superstars break up with their partners because of the commitments they have to make to be WWE Superstars, which includes a hefty travelling schedule, and only being home with their families for a few days every year. This also means they then get into relationships with other wrestlers they are on the road with, while already having children from their previous relationship.

Being a role model and a Superstar who is adored all over the world means that many of these stars are already good with kids and are quite happy to become stepparents. Stepparents are widely considered to be incredible people who take on other people's children without a second thought, so here are some of the heroes that are part of the wrestling world.

17 Naomi

via plus.google.com

Easily one of the most athletic female wrestlers that WWE has ever employed, it is still a tragedy that Naomi has never been given a Divas/Women's Championship reign. Even though Naomi has been missing from WWE for the past few months while she recovers from injury, it is thought that she will make her return to WWE soon.

Naomi married Jimmy Uso back in 2014 on an episode of Total Divas, which meant that Naomi became the stepmother to Jimmy's two children Jayla and Jayden. The couple has been seen together along with their children as well as Tamina Snuka's children on many different episodes of Total Divas over the past few years. Perhaps some day in the near future, Naomi and Jimmy Uso will welcome a child of their own into the family.

16 Maria

via pwpnation.com

Maria was brought into WWE as a backstage interviewer and was rarely used in the Women's Division at the time. This was mainly because Maria wasn't a trained wrestler, so she was classed as one of the models that WWE had signed through the Diva Search.

Maria went on to Ring of Honor and TNA and made a name for herself in both companies. When Maria moved to ROH she met her future husband, Mike Bennett. After dating for many years, the couple married in 2014 and following their marriage, Maria became the stepmother to Mike's son Austin. The couple is currently working together in TNA where Maria recently has become known as "The First Lady of TNA." With her career on the rise, it is unlikely that Maria will take time away to have a child of her own at this point.

15 Randy Orton

via twitter.com

The former 12-time WWE World Champion has had a checkered dating history throughout the last ten years. He married his first wife Samantha Speno back in 2007 and welcomed their first child Alana Marie the year after.

Their marriage then broke down after accusations of cheating and they were filing for divorce in 2012 before. It was finalized in 2013. Orton then dated JoJo Offerman for a few months before he went on to marry his second wife Kimberly Kessler in 2015. The couple welcomed their first child together in November 2016. Brooklyn Rose was Orton's second daughter and Kessler's fourth child. When Orton married Kim he became the stepfather to her three children from a previous relationship. They are now, one happy family all together.

14 Paige (Future)

via metronews.ca

Paige's dating history is definitely a lengthy one given all the men that she has introduced to the WWE Universe on Total Divas. She then announced that she was dating Alberto Del Rio in the summer of 2016 just before she was suspended twice by WWE for breaching their Wellness Policy.

Del Rio and Paige later became engaged, despite the fact that the former World Champion was still married. The engagement was made official earlier this year and Paige was seen on the latest episode of Total Divas stating that she couldn't wait to marry Del Rio and become stepmom to his children. The children show a different side of Paige and it is one that the WWE Universe will enjoy seeing in the months/years to come.

13 Michelle McCool

via youtube.com

The former Women's and Divas Champion left her stamp on WWE before she departed a few years ago. And it seems she left quite the impression on The Undertaker since the duo went on to get married back in 2010 after dating for more than three years.

Following their marriage, Michelle and TheUndertaker welcomed their first child Kaia Faith in 2012. She was Michelle's first child and The Undertaker's fourth. Michelle became stepmother to The Undertaker's other three children as well, 24-year-old Gunner Vincent from 'Taker's first marriage and Chasey and Gracie aged 15 and 12 from The Undertaker's marriage to Sara Frank up until 2006. The Undertaker and Michelle McCool have bene one of the more private couples to emerge from WWE but they do seem to be happy together.

via therichest.com

Sable also met her husband Brock Lesnar through their WWE contacts and when the couple finally married back in 2006, Lesnar was Sable's third husband. Sable already had a daughter named Mariah, from her first marriage but the couple went on to welcome sons Duke and Turk into the world not long after they were wed. Lesnar himself also had a child prior to this union which made Sable step mother to Lesnar's daughter Mya Lynn from his relationship with Nicole McCain.

11 T9. Brock Lesnar

via bloodyelbow.com

Well if we're going to discuss Sable, then we might as well include 'The Beast Incarnate.' The former UFC and WWE World Champion. "Family man" doesn't slip off the tongue when talking about Brock Lesnar, but it seems that this is one of the things that brought both Paul Heyman and Lesnar together and it's one of the things that actually defines the former champion.

Sable has already been mentioned above, but when Lesnar married Sable back in 2006 he also became the stepfather to her daughter Mariah, who was from her first marriage. Mariah's father tragically died in a drunk driving accident not long after she was born and so it seems Brock Lesnar is now the only father figure she has in her life.

via dailywrestlingnews.com

The former Raw General Manager is still a part of WWE, even though his current role means that he doesn't have to appear on any programming (no reality show-based). His appearances with WWE have allowed him to meet Kathy Colace, who is the mother of The Bella Twins and mother-in-law of Daniel Bryan.

Laurinaitis married Kathy as part of the storyline in the first season of Total Bellas and since their wedding, he has become the stepfather of Brie and Nikki Bella, as well as their brother Jay Jay. John and Kathy play a huge part in the Total Bellas series as the program would focus a lot on the marriage between John and Kathy and how everyone around them was coping with becoming a family.

When it comes to infamous love triangles, WWE has had them all, but one of the most famous ones from TNA and included Jeff Jarrett and Kurt and Angle. In reality, Kurt and Karen had been separated for a while, but Jeff and Karen did finally marry in 2010. The marriage meant that Jeff became stepfather to Kurt's children Kyra and Kody while Karen also became a stepmother to Jeff's three daughters Joslyn, Jaclyn and Jeryn. It is believed that Kurt, Karen, and Jeff have made some sort of peace and have all moved on with their lives.
