The WWE is the most watched professional wrestling promotion today, despite the fact that the company is currently amidst one of its "lowest points" in terms of revenue, viewership, relevance et cetera. Regardless of whether the WWE is at its peak or at its rock bottom, the WWE will still reign supreme over all other wrestling promotions.
Considering the WWE is such an enormous corporation, the Superstars that perform for the company have absolutely massive followings across all the social media platforms including Instagram and Twitter. In total, WWE has well over 700 million followers across all social media platforms combined which is astonishingly massive. As you'd expect, WWE prides itself on making sure that their performers are "clean cut" through and through, with no "baggage" that could somehow garner the company negative PR.
However, WWE Superstars are still in fact human, and they are all prone to making mistakes just like the rest of us. Whether it's revealing Instagram photos or private video and picture leaks, multiple Superstars have revealed far too much, and they most likely regretted it (especially taking into account the fact that controversial photos or videos can affect ones position within the WWE).
Perhaps WWE performers let their fame get to their head slightly from time to time, and unfortunately for them, since they have such enormous followings, any controversial pictures and videos will come back to haunt them. Stay tuned, as this list divulges 15 WWE Superstars (some past, some present) that had pictures or videos released to the public and probably regretted it.
15 15. Victoria
Victoria is a highly underrated women's wrestler who is mainly recognized for her tenure with the WWE throughout the early/mid 2000s, as well as for her run in TNA Impact Wrestling. She played the perfect heel while in WWE, and she had memorable matches and feuds with the likes of Trish Stratus and Lita. Though Victoria doesn't wrestle as much as she once did (nowhere near as often), you'll still occasionally see the former WWE Women's Champion perform at various Independent wrestling shows across the country, as well as countless meet and greets which she attends out of love for her undying fanbase.
Though she may never be talked about in the same sentence as Trish Stratus, Victoria is still a memorable Women's Division wrestler who had good runs in two of the largest professional wrestling promotions. Speaking in terms of "revealing" photos or videos, Victoria was unfortunately apart of the recent wrestling leaks scandal, as multiple revealing photos were posted online without her consent.
14 14. Seth Rollins
"The Architect" Seth Rollins is by far one of the most talented performers in the WWE presently. However, despite being extraordinarily gifted, Seth Rollins is currently in a bit of a "slump" on Monday Night Raw while performing as a fairly bland and directionless babyface. Rollins is definitely best suited as a heel, especially when the company completely ruined any possible chance of his babyface run working a while back. However, Seth is still one of the top guys in WWE, and it'll only be a matter of time before Rollins turns heel and reclaims his rightful spot atop the industry.
I suppose one Superstar cannot be the focal point forever, and it looks like the WWE are taking a break from presenting Rollins as a main eventer (this may prove to be beneficial once Seth returns to main event tier status considering he'll be fresh). If you've since forgotten, Seth's ex fiancee posted extremely revealing pictures of Rollins naked on Twitter, and this garnered Seth a ton of buzz - negative buzz of course.
13 13. Maryse
Maryse has definitely helped bring back relevancy to The Miz following her return to the WWE last year after WrestleMania 32. Since Maryse's re-introduction, Miz has never been more popular and hotly discussed among wrestling fans. Crazily, many fans wouldn't be against The Miz having another chance at the top with another WWE Championship run - which is something that wouldn't have been agreed upon by most fans two years ago. Though The Miz is a very talented performer both in the ring and on the mic, Maryse has certainly been that "missing piece" of the puzzle.
Not only is Maryse one of the hottest women in WWE, but she also makes for the perfect assistant who constantly helps out Miz capture victories that he would've otherwise failed to capture. In regards to revealing pictures, although Maryse wasn't one of the stars who had leaked photos, prior to becoming a WWE Superstar, Maryse took part in risque photo-shoots for companies such as Playboy. Looking back now with all the success Maryse has attained with her "clothes on" so to speak, I'm sure she regrets these early-career photos.
12 12. Dana Brooke
The WWE definitely likes to hire former bodybuilders, and Dana Brooke was no exception to this rule. Prior to becoming a WWE Women's Division wrestler, Brooke used to compete for the Arnold Classic competition. Since her introduction to WWE, Dana has performed down in NXT, and now on the company's main roster - Monday Night Raw. Though it's unclear if Dana Brooke will ever "take the Women's Division" by storm, it's highly likely that she'll have at least a couple runs with a WWE Women's Championship before her career comes to an end.
Most recently, Dana returned to WWE after a brief hiatus to take part in a Triple Threat match also involving Nia Jax and Mickie James, to determine Alexa Bliss' SummerSlam opponent following Bayley's unfortunately-timed injury. And yes, Brooke was the Superstar pinned by Nia Jax to secure Nia as Bliss' SummerSlam championship challenger. Dana Brooke was one of the names included in the recent string of leaks, though her pictures leaked weren't nearly as "graphic" or revealing as some of the others on this list. However, it's highly likely that Dana would rather not have her old "bodybuilding" photos released without consent.
11 11. Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels is undoubtedly one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. Throughout his illustrious career, Michaels captured the WWE Championship three times, the World Heavyweight Championship once, the Intercontinental Championship three times, the Tag Team Championship five times and finally, the European Championship once. However, despite being a wrestling Icon, Shawn Michaels definitely had a rough past with lots of low points prior to turning to faith in the early 2000s.
Out of all the questionable decisions Shawn made, posing for Playboy nude has to take the cake as being the most irrational - something Michaels most likely regrets doing to this day, and I'm sure he'd love for those pictures to be erased from existence. Following his return to the WWE in 2002, Michaels saw great forms of success up until his official retirement in 2010. Though Shawn Michaels may have been a troubled person during the peak years of his career, that doesn't take away from the fact that he's one of the all time wrestling greats.
10 10. Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn has been one of the most buzzed about former WWE Divas since her departure from wrestling. Instead of wearing out her body in the ring, Kaitlyn real-name Celeste Bonin has taken the much easier route of becoming a model (which she seems to be doing quite well at). Though many fans weren't happy when Kaitlyn retired from professional wresting, I'd have to say that modeling will be much easier on her body looking towards the future. Kaitlyn's only 3o years old, so she made the choice to leave the world of wrestling when she was just 27 in 2014.
Despite being "out of the spotlight," Kaitlyn still has a large fanbase regardless with over 575k followers on Instagram and over 825k on Twitter. Though Kaitlyn's a model who posts somewhat "revealing" pictures on a regular basis, she was still one of the names included in the recent string of leaks as multiple revealing photos of the former WWE Divas Champion had been released to the public without her consent - pictures Kaitlyn surely didn't want to be published for all to see.
9 9. Mickie James
Mickie James has been apart of the pro-wrestling industry for years now, and she currently finds herself amidst the WWE Women's Division over on Monday Night Raw. Most recently, Mickie performed in a triple threat match this past Raw with Nia Jax and Dana Brooke that would determine who would go onto face the current Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam for the gold. However, Nia Jax ended up being the victor in this match after pinning Dana Brooke.
Despite not winning this big match, don't count out Mickie James quite yet - she'll likely be reinserted into the championship picture following SummerSlam considering Bayley's out with an untimely injury. However, even if Mickie never wins another title in the WWE, James can proudly boast that she has 5 Women's Championship reigns and one Divas Championship reign under her belt. Though Mickie James was not apart of the recent leaks, Mickie had a plethora of revealing photos taken prior to becoming a WWE performer, and she probably regrets them looking back now as an accomplished wrestler and mother.
8 8. Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair is probably the WWE's most talented female performer currently signed to the company. Although the likes of Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss are great performers, neither of them can match Charlotte's immense talent inside the squared circle. Charlotte's in her own league above all the other wrestling women in WWE, and she's undoubtedly "The Queen" of the entire Women's Division.
At this point, it looks as if the WWE are taking a break from Charlotte Flair being presented as the "top dog," and this will bode well for "The Genetically Superior Athlete" in the future as she'll be fresh and new once she recaptures the Women's Championship. Unfortunately for Charlotte, she was apart of the recent string of leaks, as multiple nude pictures of the former Women's Champion were released to the public without her consent, which left Flair devastated for a period of time earlier this year.
7 7. Brad Maddox
Brad Maddox has been nowhere to be seen following his WWE release in 2015 after using the phrase "cocky pr*cks" in a dark match- of course, except for the recent private video leaks earlier this year involving Maddox, Paige and The New Day's Xavier Woods. Though Brad Maddox never took the WWE by storm, he still had a somewhat memorable brief run performing as the Raw General Manager, most notably.
Following the release of his, Woods and Paige's private video leaks, instead of addressing the controversial footage, Maddox chose to delete all of his social media accounts instead - Brad was obviously devastated following the release of those leaks to the public. It's unfortunate that Maddox's pro-wrestling career started and ended so quickly, as he could've remained a WWE performer in some capacity to this day had he stayed away from controversy. It's very likely that we've heard the last from Brad Maddox, at least in professional wrestling that is - it's rumored that Maddox's currently pursuing an acting career.
6 6. Melina
The former WWE Women's and Divas Champion Melina was by far one of the hottest Divas of her time. Starting off her professional wrestling career back in 2005 as the manager of Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro, Melina would quickly climb the ladder of success by capturing her first of three Women's Championships after defeating then champion Mickie James in February 2007. Following her departure from WWE in 2011, Melina has been performing on the Independent wrestling scene ever since on a fairly regular basis, as well as taking part in meet and greets across the country.
In regards to revealing photos or videos, Melina was one of the stars affected in the 2017 string of leaks, as the former Women's Champ had multiple extraordinarily revealing photos released to the public without her consent. Though these photos weren't very recent, they were still invasions of Melina's privacy, and she probably regrets ever taking those pictures to begin with.
5 5. Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan may be one of the WWE's Icons, but he's also a heck of a controversial celebrity figure. Throughout the '80s and '90s, the professional wrestling scene was dominated by "The Hulkster," and he was basically wrestling's biggest and most successful draw. However, as I've already mentioned, Hulk Hogan has definitely had his fair share of controversial moments. Not only did Hulk suffer immensely from his private video leak for what it was, but the leak also revealed Hogan using racial slurs which caught the attention of the media, and it ended up costing Hulk's job in WWE.
However, Hulk Hogan has come out of the whole controversial situation a wealthier man, as he won his lawsuit against Gawker for 115 million dollars which is incredible. Hulk Hogan is now out of "the thick of it," and a future WWE return isn't totally out of the question despite the fact that the WWE nearly tried to erase Hogan's name from existence. Regardless, with all the negative flack Hulk received following his private video leaks, I'm sure Hogan regrets ever having the video made to begin with.
4 4. Paige
Paige has got to be the most controversial and widely discussed WWE Diva in recent memory. Though Paige's likely returning to WWE soon, that doesn't take away from the fact that she suffered immensely earlier this year following the release of both private video and photo leaks. Paige's leaks basically initiated the release of all the other wrestling leaks this year, and I'd have to argue that Paige's revealing leaks were the most controversial - hence why they've affected her overall relationship with the WWE.
It's highly likely that Paige regrets ever having those videos and pictures taken, as it has affected every aspect of her life including her relationship with the already controversy-ridden Alberto El Patron. It's sad that Paige's wrestling career has been derailed considering she's still young and full of untapped potential, and we can only hope that she'll eventually make her way back onto WWE television. Though it's anyone's guess if Paige will ever be utilized like she was at her peak in 2014 and 2015.
3 3. Razor Ramon aka Scott Hall
Razor Ramon has had a very rough WWE-afterlife - one ridden with drug and alcohol abuse. Ramon has been in and out of rehab centers for much of the 2000s, though it seems like the former Intercontinental Champion is trying his best to stay out of trouble. In 2013, Razor Ramon's long-time friend Diamond Dallas Page invited Ramon to stay at his house in order to get Scott on the right track and away from the booze and drugs. The next year (2014), Razor Ramon was rightfully inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, much to the delight of WWE's fanbase.
In regards to revealing pictures or videos, Scott Hall had posted a picture to his Instagram account of his Christmas tree late last year - though he forgot to crop out his television which was displaying risque adult content. Scott Hall has since deleted that controversial IG post, and I'm sure he regrets being so careless to begin with. However, it wasn't nearly as serious as some of the other performers leaks on this list, and it mainly served as a good laugh for most fans. "The Bad Guy" surely hasn't changed much with time, that's for sure!
2 2. Xavier Woods
The New Day's Xavier Woods was apart of the recent Paige video and picture leaks earlier this year which garnered the former Tag Team Champ a ton of buzz - and buzz the WWE wanted absolutely no affiliation with. It's obvious that Xavier Woods regrets ever getting involved in the leaked video to begin with, though Woods hasn't let the leaks affect him too seriously (considering he was able to poke fun at himself on numerous occasions). Many fans were worried around the time of the leaks as to whether or not Xavier would be punished for the controversial footage or not, and thankfully, he hasn't been.
Instead, The New Day are still a cohesive unit over on SmackDown Live currently reigning as the Tag Team Champions, and they are currently set to face off against The Usos at SummerSlam for the titles. In the future, the "sky's the limit" when it comes to Woods, as he could be placed anywhere on the card and excel. I'm sure Xavier Woods is thanking his lucky stars that the recent leaks didn't bite him as hard as he might've originally expected.

Lana is currently amidst a singles Women's Division run over on SmackDown Live. Though her singles wrestling career hasn't been a huge success up to this point (considering she has lost every match-up), I still believe that the WWE have high hopes for Rusev's former manager. Regardless, whether or not Lana becomes a top Women's Division wrestler or not (she's still very green), it's not arguable that Lana's one of the top 3 hottest women in the WWE today.
In regards to leaks of revealing pictures or videos, though Lana wasn't apart of the recent string of leaks earlier this year, Lana still has her fair share of revealing pictures out there stemming from Lana's time spent as a model prior to becoming a WWE Superstar. Lana often posed either nude or semi-nude, hence why the photos were so risque and revealing. Considering where she is now in terms of success, I'm sure Lana regrets ever posing for such scandalous photo-shoots.
