Nothing quite gets wrestling fans' blood pumping like someone returning to the ring after a long time away. Granted, that shine might quickly wear off, but that initial pop, and for a little while after, that wrestler will be the biggest and best thing ever. Just go back and listen to the reaction John Cena got when he returned over the summer, and he hadn't even been gone that long.

Too Cool In 2022

In 2022, it might be the turn of Too Cool to get that pop. Okay, the tag team won't get the reaction Cena gets, but there's still a chance we could see them wrestle together again in 2022. Scotty 2 Hotty recently shared a photo of him and Rikishi at Seaworld in Orlando. Both the remaining members of Too Cool appeared to imply that they could team up again when sharing the photo.

Scotty actually parted ways with WWE very recently. The former Tag Team Champion had been working as a trainer in NXT. However, the to-do list he shared shortly after he left the company reveals the reason he left is so he can pick back up with his in-ring career. Everything on there is related to him wrestling again, whether it be the desire to wrestle somewhere specific or to wrestle in front of his kids.

Too Cool vs. FTR

If Too Cool were to reunite next year, it appears FTR will be one of the first teams in line to face them. Cash Wheeler replied to the photo Rikishi shared threatening to put Too Cool up too. The former AEW Tag Team Champions have won the AAA Titles in 2021 and also appeared at ROH Final Battle. The pair will be looking for more firsts in 2022, and perhaps beating a potential Hall of Fame tag team fits the bill.

As fun as a Too Cool reunion would be, it would also be a pretty emotional affair. Brian Christopher, better known as Too Cool member Grandmaster Sexay, passed away since the last time the three of them teamed together in 2014. The three of them are best remembered for their work together during the early 2000s in WWE. A tough time to stand out in WWE's tag division considering the talent there at the time which just goes to show how good Too Cool were.
