Local advertisements suggest that WWE will be loading up on star power for the Money in the Bank 2022 pay-per-view.

This year's show will be held inside Allegiant Stadium — the home venue of the NFL's Las Vegas Raiders — on July 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year's show will mark the second straight year in which Money in the Bank is held in the month of July; the previous two events were held in May.

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, the following superstars are being advertised locally for Money in the Bank 2022: Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Raw Women's Champion Bianca Belair, SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley, Becky Lynch and Drew McIntyre.

Money in the Bank 2022 is still nearly three months away, so it's really anybody's guess what the match card will look like. A tweet from the official @WWE Twitter account last month advertised both Lesnar and Rousey for the pay-per-view. It would be quite surprising if either of them were absent from the card for a marquee show like this one.

As usual, the show will be highlighted by the yearly men's and women's Money in the Bank ladder matches. The two winners will guarantee themselves a championship opportunity that can be used whenever and wherever throughout the next year.

Nikki A.S.H. and Big E both made the most of their Money in the Bank victories last year. The former successfully cashed in on Charlotte Flair to become the new Raw Women's Champion on the post-Money in the Bank episode of Raw. Two months after his giant victory, Big E would enjoy a successful cash-in against Bobby Lashley on Raw to win his first WWE Championship.

The Next WWE Pay-Per-View

The next WWE pay-per-view is WrestleMania Backlash, which will run on May 8 in Providence, Rhode Island. There are two announced matches on the card for that event: Rousey vs. Flair in an "I Quit" match for the SmackDown Women's Championship and Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes. These are both rematches from the WrestleMania 38 card.
