Earlier this year, it was announced that a biopic depicting the life and times of the one and only Vince McMahon could very well be in the offing. Although very little about the film has been revealed thus far, that hasn't stopped the WWE Universe and beyond from discussing the possibilities of what exactly the film could include. What periods in Vince's life will the movie focus on? How truthful will the retold tale be considering WWE will obviously have a huge hand in creating it? Plus, the one thing everybody is dying to know, who will be cast in the role of Vince McMahon? They'll have some big shoes to fill. As of right now, Bradley Cooper seems to be the front-runner for the part, but here are five other men who would do justice to the Vince role.

5. Nicholas Cage

It would come as little surprise to hear that Vince McMahon had a hand in selecting Bradley Cooper to play him in a story about his own life. The Hollywood star is an incredibly handsome man and likely how Vince saw himself years ago. What Cooper doesn't have in abundance though is that wild card factor that whoever plays Vince will need in order to portray him accurately. Mr McMahon is a unique character that can be known to fly off the handle from time to time. What better man to relay that to audiences around the world than Nicholas Cage? The Kick-Ass star may not be as typically good looking as Cooper, but he certainly brings other important things to the Vince McMahon biopic table.

4. Kevin Spacey

Whoever is selected to play Vince McMahon in his upcoming biopic will need one thing in particular, and they will need it in abundance. Intensity. Whether he's in the ring, behind the announce desk, or backstage talking to talent, you can rest assured that Mr. McMahon is almost always the most intense man in any given building. Someone who definitely knows how to bring a good amount of intensity to all of his roles is Kevin Spacey. From the classic American Beauty to his comedic role in Horrible Bosses, it's always there. What's more is Spacey's part as the lead in hit TV series House of Cards would have prepared him very well for the part of Vince McMahon.

3. Clint Eastwood

No matter how much Vince McMahon may try to deny it, there's no getting around the fact that the WWE Chairman is old. If the upcoming biopic about the boss is going to tackle every area of the billionaire's life then there will likely need to be more than one man cast as McMahon. Bradley Cooper may work for a younger chairman of the board, but what about McMahon in his later years? Well, how about the one and only Clint Eastwood? A legend in Hollywood and a man who turned his hand to any number of roles over the course of his career. What's more is McMahon is likely a fan of Clint which would only play to the movie star's strengths.

2. Liam Neeson

Let's recap exactly what an actor is going to need to pull off a good Vince McMahon. Intensity, in good shape, a believable leader, an aura about him, and we would imagine they need to be pretty good looking too. Well, star of Taken Liam Neeson pretty much checks all those boxes wouldn't you say? There's also another important element that would certainly place Neeson in Vince's good books, he's Irish. Mr. McMahon prides himself on his Irish heritage. Above all else though, take a look at the photo above. Neeson already looks like he's dressed for the part of Vince, just cast him already.

1. Bryan Cranston

via independent.co.uk

When coming up with the names to put together this list there was one man that jumped out to us almost instantly, Bryan Cranston. The Breaking Bad star would make an absolutely fantastic Vince McMahon. Cranston can play a whole range of roles which would work perfectly for the spectrum of moods and versions of Mr. McMahon the actor who takes up the role would be required to portray. When thinking of Cranston the role that makes him so suitable to play the WWE chairman is his time as Heisenberg in the aforementioned Breaking Bad. Not the timid chemistry teacher Walter White, but the power-hungry drug lord that he becomes. Plus, compared to the other names in this list Cranston feels like an easier get and someone who would be very willing to take on the role.
