The final four teams in AEW's tournament to crown its first-ever Tag Team Champions have now been decided.

AEW is on a mission to do a lot of things differently to the current status quo in pro wrestling. One of its top mandates is to boast the best tag team division in the world. It has certainly set itself up with an extremely sturdy foundation. The Young Bucks, Lucha Bros, SoCal Uncensored, all terrific tag teams with a wealth of experience.

What fans now want to know is which of those teams will be crowned AEW's first Tag Team Champions. Well, we know it won't be The Bucks. Matt and Nick Jackson suffered a shock first-round loss to Private Party in the tournament to crown the first champions. Private Party joined The Dark Order in the final four.

After this week's Dynamite, we now know the other two teams in the semifinals. The aforementioned SCU has made it through but was thrown a curveball. Lucha Bros attacked them on the way to the ring to the point that Christopher Daniels left on a stretcher. That meant third SCU member Scorpio Sky had to step in, and he and Frankie Kazarian were victorious over Best Friends.

Later in the show, Lucha Bros had their own first-round match against Jurassic Express. The latter had injury issues of their own. Due to Luchasaurus being out injured, Marko Stunt stepped up to the plate. Stunt and Jungle Boy did not overcome the odds in the same way as SCU, succumbing to the power of Penta and Fenix. The luchadors will clash with giant-killers Private Party in the semifinals on next week's Dynamite.

In the other semifinal match, Dark Order will take on SCU. We're assuming Sky will be representing SCU in that match and for the rest of the tournament after stepping in for Daniels this week. We're also assuming SCU and Lucha Bros will end up meeting each other in the final considering the angle being built between them. That match, no matter which teams qualify, will take place at Full Gear on November 9, 2019.
