Kenny Omega posted a two-part video indirectly referencing controversial comments about NXT. This now makes twice he's dissed the NXT roster and the quality of the talent and he’s not shying away from what he said.

It wasn’t long ago AEW star Kenny Omega decided to take a shot at NXT after they debuted their show on the USA Network this past week. Saying AEW actually puts stars on television, he alluded to the idea NXT won’t compete with AEW on Wednesdays because the two wrestling promotions are offering different products. He suggested the shows were on different planets.

Hinting NXT was nothing more than a developmental brand, Omega took a lot of heat for his comments when he said anyone NXT would put on tv would be in the dark match or opening bout of his main event contest if on the same program. His latest video on AEW's YouTube channel Being The Elite references those comments, although never actually using the words NXT throughout.

Around the 10-minute mark of the video, Omega starts the video by saying he owes the fans and wrestlers an apology and that he humiliated himself on social media by saying such disrespectful things. But, in an interesting twist, he stops addressing the camera and starts addressing people in the room with him, acting as if he’s not aware the camera is still rolling.

Omega then says hopefully that will appease”I think they're gonna buy it. That outta hold the fuc-ing SOB’s” and begins to go on a rant about how he’s not wrong, all the things he’s done for wrestling make him right and that these wrestlers can’t hold a candle to what he’s accomplished. He calls many of the fans children who "barely have a grasp for the English language" as the real problem.

Omega Is Full On Heel Now

This video is extremely creative and proves Omega is taking on the heel role moving forward. He indirectly bashes pretty much everyone and plays up the fact his NXT comments caught so much attention.

If fans didn’t think there would be a war on Wednesday nights, this video shows AEW, or at least Omega, is welcoming one. It's hard to say there's no war and then talk trash about everyone in the promotion you're apparently not at war with.
