Tony Khan spoke with media after the debut episode of AEW: Dynamite on TNT and accidentally let slip storyline plans for Chris Jericho and his partners who close the episode and laid out The Elite.

When Kenny Omega was taken out by Jon Moxley and The Young Bucks were left to battle Chris Jericho, Ortiz and Santana alone, the numbers were certainly going to be too much to handle. Jericho and his new tag team buddies got an easy victory but the chaos at the end of the show left a lot of unanswered questions.

AEW President Tony Khan may have accidentally answered a few of them.

While speaking with media after the show, a reporter asked an unrelated question about the show and the topic of Jake Hager came up. Khan used the word stable to describe Hager joining AEW and the reporter asked, "So they are a stable?"

Realizing Khan had accidentally let slip an unofficial announcement about the group of Jericho, Sammy Guevara, Ortiz, Santana and Hager, Khan had no choice but to say the actions of those five men surely seemed to wreak of the action of an organized group. "It looked like a stable to me," Khan said.

Jericho and his group then shot a video on Twitter saying they would make an announcement next week about who and what he's got planned.

Expect Big Things From This "Stable"

With that revelation, it might be easier to predict where the next few episodes of TNT will be headed. Jericho has a title defense against an opponent to be announced soon. If he makes it through that match, he'll continue on to Full Gear to face Cody. Expect his new stablemates to help ensure a victory.

This also suggests that a name is coming. What that name will be is unclear but fans should watch for AEW episodes on YouTube or expect to get more detail next week as the stable opens the show to announce their arrival.
