The list of dream opponents for Daniel Bryan now that he's back is an incredibly long one. AJ Styles is definitely near the top though.

This past Sunday marked a day that many of us had given up on every seeing, Daniel Bryan wrestling again. Two years ago the leader of the Yes! Movement was forced into an early retirement and told by WWE that he will never wrestle again. Bryan didn't take no for an answer though and after two years of fighting he has been cleared and he is back.

Now even though Bryan's match at WrestleMania wasn't exactly against a dream opponent it will still be one of the greatest moments in recent wrestling history. Now that he's done with Sunday's tag team match though the true dream showdowns can begin. The matches we never thought we would see outside of simulating them on WWE 2K18.

Where do WWE even begin when it comes to matching up Bryan with potential opponents though? There are so many Superstars on the roster right now that the WWE Universe are dying to see get in the ring with the former World Champion. In fact most of those Superstars are likely itching to get that opportunity too. We know that AJ Styles is anyway.

The Phenomenal One recently spoke with IGN about where he's at in his career right now and since he and Bryan are both on SmackDown Live the topic naturally came up. 'There are a few things that I’m selfish about and selfishly I’ve been wanting to wrestle Daniel Bryan in WWE for a long time', the WWE Champion admitted to IGN. 'Now that he’s back, my mind is racing and I can’t wait to meet him in the ring. I’m so happy he’s back and able to live out his dreams and follow his passion'.

Daniel Bryan's return has happened so quickly and unexpectedly that it has been something of a whirlwind. Everyone was so focused on his first match back at Mania, and now we can look forward to the next one. Hopefully the next few years will be filled with Daniel Bryan dream matches, and hopefully a one on one with AJ Styles will be one of the first.
