AJ Styles is one of the greatest superstars in WWE today, thanks to his effort, dedication and perseverance in the ring over so many years. AJ Styles is a true role model, as he is a guy who focuses on doing his job and has rarely had problems with his peers.
Throughout his career, The Phenomenal One has established bonds of friendship with various wrestlers. In fact, he became close friends with some and they train together, hang out and support each other through thick and thin. However, there are also certain wrestlers that AJ Styles just can't stand.
8 Loves: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were not only tag team partners, but they have known each other for a long time, they have worked together for several years and it was inevitable that they became good friends.
Styles considers Anderson and Gallows as brothers and it really hurt him when they were removed from the WWE roster. In fact, AJ felt guilty because he couldn't do anything to prevent it. It is evident that he misses them a lot and that he wishes they were on the roster again.
7 Doesn’t: Paul Heyman
Last year, WWE released Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson due to the COVID-19 staff cuts. It is well known that both Gallows and Anderson are AJ Styles' best friends, and it was allegedly Paul Heyman who was responsible for his friends losing their jobs.
Obviously, this made AJ Styles very angry, and now he thinks Heyman is a liar, who has no ethics. AJ's reaction is understandable, as nobody likes to see their loved ones out of work. Accusing Paul Heyman of being a liar also seems like a rite of passage for wrestlers.
6 Loves: Dolph Ziggler
AJ Styles and Dolph Ziggler are two of the most experienced wrestlers in WWE, they both respect each other and they are role models for the younger ones.
Although they have not had the opportunity to work together in the ring lately, it is evident that they have a good friendship.
5 Doesn’t: Hulk Hogan
Once again, AJ Styles spoke during one of his Twitch videos, this time Styles revealed that when he was in TNA (IMPACT Wrestling) he had some real-life issues with Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan.
Several years ago, The Hulkster came to TNA and took creative control, then he made several changes, such as changing the six-sided ring to a traditional four-sided ring. AJ Styles never agreed, because he was in his comfort zone, everything worked wonderfully in TNA and suddenly Hogan came to change things.
4 Loves: Charlotte Flair
Remember the amazing mixed tag team that The Queen Charlotte Flair and AJ Styles formed to participate in the Mixed Match Challenge? Well, their friendship goes much far beyond that, as it has become clear that they are close friends and that they both admire and respect each other.
On several occasions, they have posted photos together on social media. Sometimes, they are together in the locker room, at the gym, at the airport, or just having fun. It's great to see two of today's biggest superstars getting along so well.
3 Loves: Xavier Woods
AJ Styles and Xavier Woods met many years ago when they both worked for TNA, they did not hit it off immediately, but over time they became very good friends.
When AJ Styles came to WWE, Woods welcomed him with open arms. They enjoy working for the same brand and sometimes spend their free time together.
“Awesome Consequences” Xavier Woods is mainly a tag team wrestler, but if that ever changes then AJ will probably want to be one of his opponents.
2 Doesn’t: CM Punk
Last year CM Punk accused AJ Styles of being a racist, accusations that AJ Styles ignored and said he would not react to such ridiculous comments from a person he does not respect. Styles also said that CM Punk just wanted attention.
A few weeks later, on his Twitch stream, Styles was asked about the possibility of working with the Straight Edge Savior, and Styles answered that "that will never happen".
While we have no doubt that feud/match between these two would be incredible we will never see it.
1 Loves: Jeff Hardy
A few months ago, AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy starred in a very interesting feud for the Intercontinental Championship, which ended with a Triple Threat match won by Sami Zayn. They surely enjoyed each of their matches, since they have a very good friendship.
Styles has unveiled that The Charismatic Enigma is one of his closest friends on the current WWE roster, and it is not surprising, since they have known each other since 2004, when they were both on the TNA roster.
