While he is The Phenomenal One, AJ Styles has never shied away from enlisting the help of another to take on his adversaries. We know his famous alliances with Bullet Club in NJPW, The OC in WWE, and Fortune & The Front Line in TNA, but Styles has teamed with a plethora of wrestlers many fans might not know about.

While Styles is used to being the center of attention wherever he wrestles, today the spotlight will be on some of his forgotten tag team partners across all promotions he's competed in.

10 Mick Foley

Many fans tend to forget that Mick Foley not only wrestled for TNA, he was actually their World Heavyweight Champion. He was embroiled with the Front Line-Main Event Mafia feud, leading to a showdown with TNA Champion Sting at Lockdown 2009 in a steel cage match, which Foley ended up winning.

Before that, Foley would team with The Phenomenal One and Brother D-von to face off against Booker T, Kip James (aka Billy Gunn) and Scott Steiner at Genesis 2009.

9 Rampage Jackson

Rampage Jackson

TNA was notorious for trying to bring any mainstream attention to their product, so they often signed interested MMA fighters. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson had made a name for himself in the UFC, so it seemed like a good get for TNA when he showed up to confront Kurt Angle.

Rampage became a member of the "New" Main Event Mafia, and was thus inserted into that stable's feud with Aces & Eights. Jackson won his only match ever, a 5-on-5 in which he tagged with lone wolf AJ Styles and his Mafia teammates, Magnus, Samoa Joe, and Sting.

8 Triple H

Triple H has been a part-timer in WWE since The Phenomenal One's debut in 2016, so the two haven't really had the chance to interact. With WWE touring Japan in 2019, the company wanted to put on a special show which featured fan-favorites The OC, who were former members of Japan's infamous Bullet Club.

That wasn't special enough, though, as WWE decided to add a fourth man to that group for one night: The Game himself. The fearsome foursome took out Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Samoa Joe and Drew McIntyre.

7 Macho Man

While AJ Styles had teamed with Jeff Hardy multiple times throughout his TNA career, the duo had an unexpected third partner in their match against Jeff Jarrett, Kevin Nash and Scott Hall at Turning Point 2004: the "Macho Man" Randy Savage.

Macho Man's time in TNA was limited to just this one match, which would also end up being the final match of his storied career. Coming out victorious alongside Styles and Hardy is a fine way to be remembered.

6 Kenny Omega

AJ Styles debuted in NJPW in 2014 with a major impact, challenging and defeating IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada in his first match. He subsequently became a member, and the eventual leader, of Bullet Club.

Styles had many tag matches in the company, mostly teaming with Yujiro Takahashi, Bad Luck Fale or Gallows & Anderson. He even tagged with the Young Bucks a few times, but only had one tag team match in which he partnered with Kenny Omega. They faced off against Shinsuke Nakamura and YOSHI-HASHI.

5 Christy Hemme

Christy Hemme

Here's a weird one for you: on a 2008 episode of Impact, AJ Styles tagged with Christy Hemme to take on Scott Steiner and Awesome Kong. Hemme was being pushed during this time, and she was challenging Kong for the Knockouts Championship.

Meanwhile, Styles was feuding with Scott Steiner and the Main Event Mafia, so TNA decided to combine both feuds in this mixed tag team match. Christy actually got the win when she pinned Kong.

4 X-Pac

Following a failed nWo run in WWE, Sean Waltman, of Syxx and X-Pac fame, debuted in TNA as Syxx-Pac. He was featured in some high-profile feuds, most notably against Jeff Jarrett and his Planet Jarrett stable.

On a May 2005 episode of Impact, Waltman joined forces with The Phenomenal One to take on Double J and Monty Brown. The two were no strangers, as Waltman's only X-Division title reign ended at the hands of Styles.

3 Hiroshi Tanahashi

Before AJ Styles signed a contract with NJPW in 2014, The Phenomenal One had wrestled a few matches in Japan as part of TNA's partnership with them in 2008. In an inter-promotional tag team affair, two of the top wrestlers from each company paired off with a rival, delivering a very unique matchup.

Kurt Angle teamed with Shinsuke Nakamura to face AJ Styles and Hiroshi Tanahashi. The Phenomenal One and The Ace? Talk about an all-star tag team.

2 D'Lo Brown

DLo Brown in TNA

Just seeing D'Lo Brown's name makes fans want to bobble their head. Brown was a member of the divisive Aces & Eights stable in his second run with TNA, but he had an earlier stint with the company back in '03-'04.

D'Lo was primarily paired with AJ Styles when he debuted in TNA. Together, they beat multiple tag teams, but came up short of winning the NWA World Tag Team Championships. The two eventually broke up, and Brown unsuccessfully challenged Styles for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship.

1 The Miz

Not many people associate AJ Styles with The Miz, but back in 2016, this heel duo partnered together to face Dean Ambrose and John Cena.

Styles, Ambrose and Cena were involved in a 3-way feud for AJ's WWE title, so The Miz was inserted into the mix on an episode of SmackDown to even it up against the faces. The two lost the match, and haven't teamed since.
