Alberto El Patron Publicly Says Paige Return To WWE Is Days Away

It's not news that Alberto Del Rio (Alberto El Patron) will likely never step foot inside a WWE ring again. The bridges have been burned and both sides of that equation are likely happy as a pig in dirt to keep everyone apart. That doesn't mean that El Patron's girlfriend Paige won't be coming back to the WWE.

In fact, Paige has been training at the WWE Performance Center and there are rumors her return to WWE is not far off. In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, El Patron confirmed those rumors and potentially spoiled the surprise.

When asked if he would ever consider rejoining the WWE, El Patron quickly shot down any chance of that happening. When asked if Paige would be returning, he also quickly said she would be.

El Patron noted that he wasn't allowed to say much because it would get Paige in trouble by the WWE but that her return was close.

"She's getting ready [to return to WWE]," El Patron said. "She's in Orlando at the moment. She's been there for the last six weeks."

Paige hasn't been seen in a WWE ring since June of 2016 when she got injured and then nailed for two Wellness Policy Violations. During that time, she and El Patron made the news for a variety of bad choices. They were arrested for a domestic dispute, El Patron was suspended by Impact Wrestling, Paige had made public comments regarding their relationship and a sex tape had leaked of Paige that included Xavier Woods and former WWE Superstar Brad Maddox.

Things have calmed down a lot and Paige is back and focused on re-starting her WWE career. El Patron seems happy for her. The WWE Universe is eagerly awaiting her return as well. If what Patron says is true, that could be as early as this Monday or Tuesday.

"She's probably days away from going back to WWE and [doing] something in the ring." said Patron.
