Ever since Alexa Bliss burst onto the scene on the main roster, she has been one of the top talents in the company. Bliss has held both the Raw and SmackDown Women's Titles, as well as the Women's Tag Team Championships, and she's done it as a heel and a babyface.

Bliss has proven that she can work her character to be hated or loved with ease and she appears to be incredibly comfortable in either position. But is she better as a heel, or as a babyface?

10 Heel: Working The Fans

Something that Alexa Bliss was really good at doing as a heel was working the fans. Whether it was in the ring, using her double joints to freak them out, or on the microphone where she would easily frustrate them, it was something Bliss was excellent at doing as a villain.

She played the fans into thinking she was going to turn into a babyface several times and then turned it back on them, and that is something that she can only do as a heel.

9 Face: Her High Flying Wrestling

While Alexa Bliss isn't the best high flying wrestler in history, she does do a lot of work from the top rope. Whether it be leaping off with crossbody's or the fact that her finisher is the Twisted Bliss, it is an in-ring style that suits being a babyface.

Whenever a wrestler does moves like that, they are more likely to be cheered from fans, and therefore having Bliss work as a face makes her wrestling style suit her gimmick.

8 Heel: Five Feet Of Fury

While being smaller than most of the other wrestlers works well for her as an underdog babyface, it suits her better as a heel. It makes the fact that she is so cocky and arrogant even better, as Alexa truly thinks she is the best around.

Being small and having that cocky edge just adds to the character overall and that is something that is really strong about this version of her character.

7 Face: It Suits Her Real Personality

Alexa Bliss' real-life story is actually a very inspiring one as she battled a serious eating disorder that played a huge part in her life. She overcame the issues and that is something that suits her being a babyface.

She is someone who can inspire lots of young people around the world, and her real-life personality just comes across as very kind and caring, which means that being a babyface is likely just herself turned up. That always leads to the best kind of gimmicks.

6 Heel: Facial Expressions

Alexa Bliss

While wrestling is all about what happens inside the ring with the moves being a big part of that, the facial expressions of the talents themselves really help to tell the story of a match better than anything.

Nobody does it better than Alexa Bliss and that really helps to make her the perfect heel. She is just able to give a look and that tells the story itself, which makes her a really easy heel to dislike.

5 Face: Working With Nikki Cross

As a heel, Alexa Bliss wouldn't work alongside anybody as that is part of her character, but that's been different as a babyface. She has spent most of her time as a babyface working in the tag team division alongside Nikki Cross.

It has not only brought great work out of Alexa, but she has also been able to raise the profile of Nikki at the same time, which is something that wouldn't have happened when she was a heel.

4 Heel: The Temper Tantrums

One reason that Alexa Bliss is greater as a heel is the way she manages to behave, really pushing the gimmick as far as possible to gain heat. The best example of that is when she hits her temper tantrums in the ring.

She fully commits to the character and that really works, with the temper tantrums being excellent as it shows how unhinged and childish the heel version of her character can be.

3 Face: Lack Of Top Tier Babyfaces

Right now in the women's division across WWE, there is a distinct lack of top babyfaces and therefore having Alexa Bliss in this role makes sense. WWE already has the likes of Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax all working as heels.

WWE doesn't need any more people playing the bad guy and Alexa stands out on her own now as a babyface which means that she could potentially go on to be the top face in the entire division if booked correctly.

2 Heel: Her Sassy Promos

The biggest reason that Alexa Bliss works better as a heel is because she is so good on the microphone at being the classic high school bully style character. Her sassy attitude and ability to cut scathing promos against her opponents make it very easy for people to hate her.

She's fantastic at controlling the WWE Universe as well when they attempt to try and make her waver in what she is saying. It's something that very few WWE Superstars are able to do, and that's why she is such a perfect heel.

1 Face: Incredibly Charismatic

While being charismatic also works out for Alexa Bliss being a heel, the fact is that it mainly suits her being a babyface. She is able to work with tons of passion and energy, both in the ring and on the microphone and that allows her to get over easier with fans.

She really pushes to be popular with fans and she always gets a good reaction from the audiences because of that. It's easy for her to win over audiences and that is why she's been such a great babyface since turning.
