However, a surprising fact about Alexa’s time in NXT was that she never had a single match on any of the NXT TakeOver specials. Bliss did manage Blake and Murphy on a few shows, but she wasn’t viewed as being on the level of Sasha Banks, Bayley and Asuka until the main roster call-up.

6 Bodybuilding got her on WWE's radar

The bodybuilding career of Alexa Bliss was where she made her name before WWE. Some ladies got hired for their promising work on the independent circuit, but Bliss broke out by doing well in bodybuilding and fitness competitions attended by WWE scouts.

Dana Brooke, Mandy Rose and Bliss were three of the biggest signings to come over from that world. Alexa is the only one to break out as a major wrestling star so far. WWE saw her potential and hit a home run with the signings.

5 Was banned from watching wrestling growing up

Alexa Bliss’ mother stopped her from watching wrestling when things started to get edgier in the Attitude Era. Many parents struggled with the same troubles of having to keep an eye on the content of WWE with their updated TV-14 rating.

The location allowed her to make frequent trips to Disney World. Bliss revealed she used to take multiple trips per day when having more free time. There are many photos on Alexa’s social media feed of her fun moments celebrating Disney.

3 Made her WWE debut at WM 30

Most fans believe Alexa Bliss made her debut on the WWE main roster in 2016, but it actually came two years prior. Bliss was part of Triple H’s spectacular WrestleMania 30 entrance playing one of the goddesses with him at the throne.

The reports of the names mostly featured Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks since both were already making their names in NXT. Bliss was still training with fewer people knowing anything about her, but it created a cool way to have her first night on the main roster.
