Alexa Bliss successfully defended her title in the first-ever women's Elimination Chamber then proceeded to cut an incredible promo to celebrate.

The women of WWE have now ticked off yet another first in what has now become an extremely long list. That latest first is an Elimination Chamber match of course as six of Raw's top females competed for the brand's Women's Championship inside the barbaric structure in Las Vegas on Sunday night.

All of the women involved put on a great match and one worthy of being staged inside the chamber. Only one of them could be the first ever female winner of the match however and the honor fell to Alexa Bliss. The champ was the last one to emerge from her pod and thanks to Sasha Banks turning on Bayley she managed to eliminate both of the now former best friends.

Not only did Bliss pick up the win she also provided us with the standout moment of the match performing her patented Twisted Bliss from the top of one of the chamber's pods. Her night's work wasn't over when the bell rang though. Following the match, the Raw Women's Champion had to perform an in-ring interview and the result was one of her best promos to date.

Bliss was visibly upset and fought back tears as she spoke about what an honor it was to be the first ever female chamber winner, thanking the fans in the arena. Yet, it turns out that was merely some pretty terrific acting. Bliss's mood changed and she instantly returned to her heelish ways which is what she does best. Five Feet Of Fury told the WWE Universe how she really feels, that being that she deserves to be on top of the mountain and she got there without anybody's help.

Once Bliss got back to the locker room, the reality of what lies in wait for her may have very well set in. The likelihood is her next title defense will take place at WrestleMania 34 and if that match is against Asuka then the chances of Bliss still being at the top of the mountain following April 8, 2018, are extremely slim.
