Throughout her time in NXT, Asuka was the most dominant wrestler they had in Men's or Women's Division. She went undefeated for years, holding the NXT Women's Championship until an injury forced her to relinquish it.

While her main roster run has not been as auspicious, she has still racked up a few huge accolades, including winning the Royal Rumble, the MITB Ladder Match, the Raw Women's Championship, the SmackDown Women's Championship and the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Asuka is the only woman in the WWE who can lay claim to holding all of those honors. But that doesn't mean that there still aren't a few dream matches waiting for her.

10 Bianca Belair

Asuka's signed up to face Sasha Banks at the next pay-per-view but that's more about what management wants to see than what the fans want to see.

Fans have made it clear over the past few years that they want to see Bianca Belair in the ring and they want to see gold around her waist. Biana is a strong, gifted athlete who would make the perfect opponent for "The Empress."

9 Candice LeRae

These days "Mrs. Wrestling" has taken a heel turn along with her husband and become "The Poison Pixie." That hasn't changed her incredible talent in the ring. Technically, Asuka and Candice LeRae have shared the ring before on opposite sides of a Survivor Series match.

But outside of someone putting matches up on YouTube from a 2K game, they have never faced each other in a ring one-on-one. Whether it happens on Raw or NXT, these two will eventually meet and it will be epic.

8 Taya Valkyrie

In an Impact Women's Division loaded with talent, Taya Valkyrie might be the best they have, which is saying a lot. Taya is a talented in-ring performer and conducts herself with a sense of style and flair that few people can match.

Except for Asuka.

These two wrestlers would have a hard-hitting, epic match, then form the greatest tag team in the history of the business. First, they would destroy each other, then they'd destroy everyone else.

7 Dr. Britt Baker DMD

The AEW Women's Division is still a work in progress but it certainly has the right talent to build it with. Britt Baker is key to that growth, in no small part due to the incredible heel run she's currently on.

Asuka versus Britt Baker isn't a one-off match so much as it is an entire feud in the making. Watching Britt talk trash as Asuka followed by Asuka just screaming at her in Japanese, then kicking Britt in the head would be epic.

6 Sumie Sakai

Sumie-Sakai

Sumie Sakai is the best wrestler ROH's Women of Honor division has to offer. Her skills in the ring are impressive to say the least, which is how she has earned the level of respect she has. Like Asuka, she hits hard and makes sure her opponents know they've been in a fight.

This is a matchup that may never happen but if it does, people will be talking about it for years to come and rightfully so.

5 Jordynne Grace

The current Knockout Women's Champion is shockingly strong and tough as hell. There's a reason why she was the one to finally unseat Taya Valkyrie from her long-standing position as the champ.

You can't help but feel like this would have to be a TLC match or something along those lines just to accommodate the level of destruction these Asuka and Jordynne would inflict on each other. You know that Jordynne is putting Asuka through a table at some point during the match.

4 Big Swole

While she briefly competed in NXT under a different name, that didn't leave much time for Big Swole and Asuka to cross paths. Big Swole is an athletic, engaging wrestler with a magnetic personality that just draws people in.

Does that remind you of anyone? She would make an amazing opponent for Asuka, putting on a wrestling clinic with the "Empress of Tomorrow." The two of them were meant to face off at some point, and it will happen eventually.

3 Awesome Kong

Awesome Kong was one of the most dominant forces of nature TNA had to offer in either the men's or women's divisions. She absolutely destroyed every opponent she faced, and left a trail of broken wrestlers behind her.

These days, Kong is technically a member of the AEW roster but she hasn't been seen in a while. A combination of taking time off to shoot the next season of GLOW and the pandemic have delayed her return. If she ever finds herself in WWE, again, a match with Asuka is an absolute must.

2 Mercedes Martinez

When you talk about the greatest in-ring veterans on the overall WWE Women's roster, you have to make sure Mercedes Martinez is in that conversation. She has been in the business for nearly 20 years, carving out a legendary career.

But that legendary career has yet to include sharing the ring with Asuka. These are two professionals at the top of their respective games. Now that they're both in the same company, this is a match WWE needs to make happen.

1 Rosemary

Rosemary in Impact Wrestling

Rosemary is one of the top women's wrestlers in the business. If she ever decides to leave Impact behind, you can bet that WWE, AEW and more will be working to bring her on board.

If WWE is successful, a match with Asuka is not only desired, it's required. Seeing these two wrestlers in the ring together could possibly blow minds. Well, as long as WWE lets these professionals do what they do best and tear up the ring.
