WWE superstar Asuka managed to escape unharmed after a shooting broke out in a Las Vegas Strip mall she was in on Tuesday night.

Three other people weren't as fortunate as they suffered injuries during the traumatic episode but, thankfully, none of the injuries were fatal.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the incident, which took place at the Fashion Show Mall. The lawmen reckon it was an isolated occurrence but fans were pretty worried after the Raw performer got on Twitter to reveal that she had to run inside of the GUESS jeans store for safety.

"I just escaped!" she tweeted after the shooting. "There was a scream in front of me at #FashionShowMall. It was like shooting. #GUESS near the shooting range protected me. I heard screams from outside the door several times after fleeing to GUESS. #FashionShowMall."

A number of fans responded to the tweets, expressing relief and support for the former SmackDown Women's Champion. "Oh wow. I'm so glad you're safe. Hope everyone else is alright, too," one fan wrote.

"Glad you’re safe," another replied. "America is a crazy place with their gun laws."

Other WWE personalities such as Lana, Renee Young, and Shinsuke Nakamura showed support as well.

It's been reported that the shooting started after an argument between two groups of young people. One of the individuals is understood to have pulled out a gun and began firing.

"This was not an active shooter," a spokesman for the LVMPD said. "This was an isolated incident."

Phew!

We're quite happy Asuka's safe but we also sympathize with the persons who were hurt during this terrible event.

Fortunately, no one died as a result of this shooting and Asuka escaped unharmed. But it wouldn't have taken a lot to see this end very differently.
