There were a litany of debuts on Raw this week and one of the most exciting and intriguing by far was the arrival of the Authors Of Pain.

When it comes to the Raw after WrestleMania newsworthy occurrences and new Superstars debuting are to be expected. This past Monday night however WWE took that to the next level. Before we had even made it to the end of hour one Ember Moon had already debuted and picked up a pinfall over Alexa Bliss and No Way Jose danced his way to the ring for a squash match.

Things didn't slow down after that either. Jeff Hardy is now back from injury and seemingly a part of the Intercontinental Title scene, Bobby Lashley is once again a WWE Superstar, plus Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn approached Kurt Angle as they begin their hunt for new jobs. All of that said though the biggest debut was still to come.

That debut was the first sighting on the main roster of the Authors Of Pain. Earlier in the evening Angle announced that there would be a tag team eliminator to decide who will be the next Raw Tag Team Champions. Heath Slater and Rhyno took issue with not being included in that mini tournament so issued an open challenge to any team in the locker room. Sadly for them AOP were back there and they answered the call.

As you might have expected Akam and Rezar did not take long to dispatch of their opponents and make their first mark on the main roster. AOP then proceeded to make another statement. Before making their way back to the locker room they appeared to ditch their Hall of Fame manager Paul Ellering, telling him not to follow them. Pretty big headed considering he's the man who helped get them to where they are today.

The tag team division on the red brand should very much be on notice. If any of them have been watching the tag team division in NXT then they will know that AOP are not to be messed with. Akam and Rezar may not have been included in the tag team eliminator but it will only be a matter of time before they are the Raw Tag Team Champions.
