After an incredibly disappointing decision to have AJ Styles lose his WrestleMania debut, the WWE pulled a complete 180 on RAW the next night, having Styles win a no.1 contender's match. Styles will now face Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Payback early next month and the word backstage is that there are big plans for Styles.

He is said to have major support from top officials backstage. He has had great success with moving merchandise already and officials see him as their most marketable new star. There's also word that Vince McMahon himself has been very impressed with his in-ring work.

It's being speculated that having Styles challenge Reigns could be a way of turning the champ heel.

In any event, the fact that The Phenomenal One has all this support from top officials bodes well for his future with the company. Would WWE let a former TNA star lead the charge for their company?
