Bray Wyatt appears to be through his feud with Seth Rollins now, having defeated The Architect at last week's Crown Jewel pay-per-view.

The Fiend attacked Daniel Bryan backstage on this week's episode of SmackDown Live, which would hint that the latter will be Wyatt's next opponent. With Survivor Series only two weeks away, WWE will have to book these two on the card soon, and it wouldn't be surprising if Bryan got a championship opportunity.

But even if Bryan winds up facing Wyatt in two weeks, it doesn't sound like this feud will last long. Rather, The Miz seems to be in line to clash with The Fiend for his Universal Championship.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Paul Davis of Wrestling News), The Miz and Wyatt are being advertised for numerous events in the near future. This includes a steel cage match at the Nov. 30 event in Mexico City.

The Observer noted that The Miz-Wyatt feud was supposed to begin on last week's episode of SmackDown, with the Universal Champion set to appear on Miz TV.

But Wyatt was among the WWE superstars who had to miss the show due to a flight issue following Crown Jewel, so that segment never took place. So the buildup towards their storyline was delayed, but we can expect it to happen in the coming weeks.

The Miz has mainly been used as a mid-card performer throughout the bulk of his career, but it looks like he's about to reenter the main event spotlight. The main question for now is if Bryan will be the one to face Wyatt at Survivor Series, or if their clash backstage was a one-time thing.

Miz Is A Great Opponent Choice For Wyatt

The Miz has done a fine job working as a babyface as of late, and with superb mic skills, the promos between he and Wyatt would be nothing short of excellent. Miz is long overdue for another main event push, so the feud against the Universal Champion really can't come soon enough.
