There have been rumors the last few weeks about tension between John Cena and WWE, but while there are some disagreements, it seems they're still on good terms. There has been a little friction regarding Cena expressing interest in pursuing more outside projects, but Cena's relationship with WWE and Vince McMahon in particular, is as strong as ever.
Another interesting note is that Cena wasn't too thrilled with Goldberg's return to the company. Part of Cena branching out for outside opportunities is because he feels he's being taken for granted. While he's always there for the company, he's frustrated that part-timers like Lesnar, Goldberg and The Rock have gotten paid the big money they have for limited schedules. He feels he should be treated the same way. Cena now considers himself a part-timer and feels his loyalty should be rewarded.
As for his WrestleMania 33 plans, Cena vs. The Undertaker is still the likely match, but Vince has asked the creative team to work on a backup plan for 'Taker. Vince's first choice though, remains Cena vs. Taker. One recent idea had Taker interfering at Survivor Series to set up a match with Goldberg, but Vince is said to be cold on the idea of 'Taker against Goldberg.
