Batista hasn't wrestled with the WWE since walking away to pursue a full-time Hollywood career in 2014, but it's safe to say his resume is polished enough to warrant an induction into the Hall of Fame.

'The Animal' is a four-time World Heavyweight Champion, two-time WWE Champion and has four Tag Team titles to his credit. On top of that, Batista won the 2005 and 2014 Royal Rumbles, headlining WrestleMania 21 and WrestleMania XXX.

That being said, Batista actually has shut down any chances of being inducted into the Hall of Fame, he told Grplgme (h/t WrestlingInc.com).

"I haven't accepted a nomination into the WWE Hall of Fame, because I just don't feel like my career is over," The Animal said. "I still feel like I have plenty to offer, but now it's a scheduling issue and it's also a creative issue. You never say never, but I'd love to go back."

Batista has expressed interest in a return, even telling Jim Ross that he's been in touch with Vince McMahon about coming back. But with the demanding schedule as a Hollywood actor, the time simply hasn't been there for the four-time World Champion to return.

On top of that, The Animal walked away from the WWE under bitter circumstances in 2014. Despite returning and winning the 2014 Royal Rumble as a face, Batista was booed and rejected by the WWE Universe.

As such, he had to turn heel and put Daniel Bryan over at WrestleMania. Batista grew frustrated with the control team and opted to leave for good. It was the second time in four years he walked away from WWE after frustration with the company's direction.

Nonetheless, it appears as though Batista feels like he needs one more run with the industry that made him legend. It only seems fair that he tries to re-write the end of his career on much better terms.

But it's anybody's guess when that happens.
