Former WWE superstar Dave Bautista has got wrestling and movie fans talking after posting an image on Twitter suggesting... well, we're just not sure what he's suggesting.

The ex-wrestler has made the transition over to Hollywood, following in The Rock's footsteps and has since landed several acting roles, most notably in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel, as well as Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

It was reported back in December that the wrestler-turned-actor had sat down for a meeting with Warner Bros., with speculation over a possible role in James Gunn's The Suicide Squad.

Gunn was the director of the aforementioned Guardians of the Galaxy films and Batista famously lobbied for his reinstatement after Marvel fired him for having tweeted jokes about rape and pedophilia several years ago. Gunn has since been pulled back to direct the third installment of the movie.

On Friday, Batista tweeted the image below:

We're not really sure what he's getting at but, given the reports over a meeting with Warner Bros., it could be that he's gotten some role in Aquaman 2. The movie drops in 2022, as will Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and maybe, just maybe, The Animal will be playing some villain who teams up with Black Manta to oppose Aquaman.

Or Maybe...

There's also the fact that Aquaman star Jason Moama had auditioned for the role of Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy films but lost out to Batista. But it could simply be Batista having a bit of Twitter fun with nothing more to it - guess we'll find out sooner or later.

Hopefully, the image was posted to suggest that something's afoot with Batista and DC. We love every chance we get to see this man on TV.
