Batista has enjoyed an extremely successful Hollywood career since he left the WWE under bitter circumstances in 2014. The Animal has been rumored to be interested in a full-time return to the company, looking for at least one more run in the industry that launched him into Hollywood.

But Batista will have a bit of patching up to do. He left the WWE in both 2010 and 2014, due to frustration with the company's direction and how he was used by the creative team. He recently appeared on J.R.'s The Ross Report, and shared a story about him getting on Vince McMahon's bad side:

"I pissed him off a lot. I pissed him off to the point where he actually said to me one day, he said, 'do you know what I want to do to you right now? I want to slap the s--t out of you!' I couldn't believe he was saying this to me! I was like, 'man.' All I could do was laugh and that made him more pissed. But I think it got to the point where I think Vince knew that I was in it for the right reasons. I think he knew that I wanted to be there and that I was good for the company."

Though The Animal got on Vince's bad side, it's been known for a while just how much the WWE chairman saw in Batista.

The Guardians of the Galaxy star went from a deacon for D-Von Dudley to the enforcer of the legendary Evolution faction. He then betrayed Triple H and became World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 21. He then became a face of the company, winning two Royal Rumbles, heading two WrestleManias while capturing four World Heavyweight Championships and two WWE titles.

Though many fans turned on Batista and refused to put him over in his latest run with the WWE, it appears as though he's ready to take care of unfinished business. Batista will always be associated with wrestling first, so it only makes sense for him to have one more successful run before he hangs up the boots for good.

That is, if he's able to not provoke Vince to the point where he's about to get slapped.
