Bayley recently revealed her high school crush on Matt Hardy may have ended one of her relationships.
Bayley has quickly emerged as one of the top female superstars in the WWE, and the former Raw Women's Champion is admired by countless fans across the world (Cue the "Hey Bayley, I wanna know if you'll be my girl" chants).
Last year, Bayley became engaged to long-time boyfriend and fellow wrestler, Aaron Solow, which probably broke a million hearts across the WWE universe. But know this: Bayley knows what you fans are going through.
Bayley recently appeared on WWE's "Superstar Superfan" segment, and talked about how a major crush on Matt Hardy (when she was 15), forced her boyfriend to break up with her:
"Really embarrassing, I had a boyfriend at this time. That I met in like summer school and then this happened and I swear that's all I could talk about. 'He did this, and then he did this in his match, and he gave me a hug, look at all these pictures.' I was posting it all over like MySpace and stuff.
I literally think the reason this guy broke up with me is because I couldn't stop talking about this. I don't know if he was jealous or if he was just like 'this chick is weird.' Maybe a combo of both but Matt Hardy ended my relationship. So, whatever man."
Obviously, celebrity crushes are nothing uncommon, and shouldn't be ending most relationships. Any WWE fan would be lying if he or she said they never had a crush on a superstar.
Bayley would have been 15 years old in 2004, when Matt Hardy was in a long-term relationship with Lita. Obviously, that ended when Edge began dating his real-life's friends girl, leading to a scandal we all wish we could forget in the WWE.
We're sure Bayley is completely over it, now. Her ex-boyfriend missed out on the chance of sticking with one of the top wrestlers in the world. Now that she's happily engaged, Bayley probably holds no regrets over having an undying love of Matt Hardy when she was a teenager.
