When she arrived in NXT in 2013, nobody thought much of Bayley. She was a star-crossed wrestler who seemed happy to just be around people she was a fan of. However, she progressed and developed into a cornerstone of NXT's women's division and is an icon of the brand's history.

In 2016, Bayley moved up to the main roster. While she has certainly had plenty of bumps along the way, she is one of the most decorated females in WWE history. She's a grand slam winner, holding the NXT, Raw, Smackdown, and Tag Team Titles, while also winning Money in the Bank. With great runs on both NXT and the main roster, these are her best matches.

10 Main Roster: Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair - Raw 9/9/19

It's called the "Mecca" for a reason. WWE doesn't do television in Madison Square Garden often, so doing so in 2019 meant something big had to happen. The women stepped up, as NXT's Four Horsewomen collided in a huge tag team match in the historic venue.

Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch teamed with Charlotte Flair to take on Smackdown Women's Champion Bayley and Sasha Banks. The four women tore the house down and put on a classic. It was filled with great drama and awesome spots. Fans were reminded once again why these are special ladies.

9 NXT: Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox - NXT 6/17/20

You might have expected all of Bayley's best NXT matches to come during her time with the brand before 2017. However, being Women's Tag Team Champions with Sasha Banks has allowed her to travel back to NXT and they recently had a pretty stellar main event outing against two upstart talents.

Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart weren't a regular tandem but they challenged for the titles and gave Bayley and Sasha Banks everything they could handle. It was a case where the champs could showcase their skills and allow someone else to shine brightly.

8 Main Roster: Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley - Payback 2017

Most fans have bad memories of the rivalry between Alexa Bliss and Bayley. It did feature the "Bayley: This Is Your Life" segment that was widely panned and the Kendo Stick on a Pole match that many considered to be the worst of that year. That being said, the feud got off to a great start, actually.

Alexa Bliss arrived on Raw and immediately made an impact. She targeted Bayley and challenged her for the Raw Women's Title at Payback. Playing off of the red hot hometown crowd for Bayley, they put on a great show that was arguably the best singles match of Bliss's career. She won the title to solidify herself as a top woman.

7 NXT: Asuka vs. Bayley - TakeOver: Brooklyn II

Bayley was riding high as NXT Women's Champion in late 2015. With the other Horsewomen gone, she was the flag-bearer for the division and gave opportunities to the likes of Alexa Bliss, Carmella, Nia Jax, and Eva Marie. Then, Asuka dominated her and took the title at TakeOver: Dallas.

6 Main Roster: Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. The Kabuki Warriors - Raw 7/13/20

The most recent entry on this list. Bayley and Sasha Banks have been one of the highlights of 2020 and they proved that again with this contest. They faced Asuka and Kairi Sane, The Kabuki Warriors, in the main event of this episode of Raw.

The four women showed that they belonged in that spot, putting on the best match of the night and one of the better Women's Tag Title bouts of all-time. For nearly 20 minutes, they had viewers on the edge of their seats. Bayley and Sasha retained in what was the final tag match for Asuka and Kairi before the latter's departure.

5 NXT: Bayley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks - TakeOver: Rival

In case you haven't realized it yet, putting the Four Horsewomen together in a match is a recipe for success. The first time it happened on a big stage was at TakeOver: Rival in 2015.

Charlotte's NXT Women's Title was on the line. The four barely needed 15 minutes to steal the show on a loaded card. Each lady got the chance to showcase their skills and prove their worth. Sasha Banks was the one to dethrone Flair and start her legendary title run.

4 Main Roster: Raw Women's Championship Chamber - Elimination Chamber 2018

Bayley bulldogs Sonya Deville

It's always a big deal to be part of history. Bayley has done that quite often. One of those times was in 2018 when she took part in the first ever women's Elimination Chamber match. Bayley didn't come in with momentum as a good chunk of her 2017 was rough.

Bayley outlasted most of the field but saw her friendship with Banks hit a snag when Banks kicked her off of one of the pods. Bayley was eliminated soon after, just before Alexa Bliss defeated Sasha Banks to win the whole thing.

3 NXT: Bayley vs. Sasha Banks - TakeOver: Respect

Bayley had a reason to have a chip on her shoulder. She watched as Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks all got called up to the main roster. In what would be Sasha Banks's final NXT match until 2020, she challenged Bayley for the NXT Women's Title.

To make it special, it would not only be the first women's main event on a TakeOver but also the first women's Ironman Match. Some would argue that it ended up being the greatest Ironman match ever. Bayley overcame Sasha to win 3-2 in an absolute classic.

2 Main Roster: Women's Tag Team Championship Chamber - Elimination Chamber 2019

If you make history at Elimination Chamber 2018, then you might as well do it again the following year. This time around, Bayley and Sasha Banks would be teammates and not opponents. They entered this massive chamber in the hopes of becoming the first Women's Tag Team Champions.

Bayley and Banks started against Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville. The two teams would best everyone else and end up as the final two as well. Banks helped Bayley onto a pod, proving that last year's issues between them were over. The Boss-n-Hug Connection went on to become the first champions in one of the best Chamber matches ever.

1 NXT: Bayley vs. Sasha Banks - TakeOver: Brooklyn

It's not only the best NXT match in Bayley's career. It's also her best performance, the best moment of her career, and the greatest women's match in WWE history. That's how special this match is.

Sasha Banks was the reigning NXT Women's Champion and Bayley was the challenger who kept coming up short, going at it on NXT's biggest show to that point. From Sasha destroying Bayley's hand to the submission counters to the huge reverse rana off the top, this never slowed down and blew away audiences completely. Bayley hit her finisher to finally win the big one.
