The arrival of Becky Lynch in NXT was met with hype but quickly went downhill. She did an Irish dance down to the ring and it felt like it played on every stereotype relating to Irish people. It was met with heavy criticism. Thankfully, she developed her own persona away from it and shined.

However, her time in NXT was relatively short. As soon as Becky really got momentum, she was called up to the main roster. She struggled there at first too but eventually became the first Smackdown Women's Champion. A few years later, she went on to become "The Man" who took over the industry. Along the way, she always delivered good matches.

While it may not be her greatest main roster match, it's certainly the most important. The women got the chance to main event the biggest show of the year for the first time in history. Fans wanted to just see Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey but Charlotte Flair was added to the mix.

The three women went out and put on a hard-hitting battle that was fitting of the main event slot. It did have something of an abrupt ending, as Becky's rollup of Rousey fell kind of flat. Still, the whole match had the crowd on the edge of their seats despite coming at the end of a lengthy show. It also marked a historic night for Becky.

9 NXT: Becky Lynch vs. Paige - NXT TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way

It's difficult to pick out Becky Lynch's best NXT matches since she didn't spend all that much time there. It was barely over a year. That's why you have to dig deep to find some of her hits.

For example, this match never even aired on television. It was a dark match ahead of TakeOver: Fatal-4-Way, at a time when Paige was on the main roster and Becky wasn't really notable quite yet. This match against Paige is solid and is available on a special NXT blu-ray collection.

WrestleMania 32 Women's Title Match

Becky Lynch's first WrestleMania was actually her best performance at the "Showcase of the Immortals." It was originally meant to be for the Divas Championship but at the start of the show, it was announced that it would actually be for the return of the Women's Championship.

She got to face the two other top women on the roster on the biggest stage. This was an important match because if it failed, the women's division would be in trouble. Thankfully, the three talented ladies delivered in spades and showed why each of them was considered to be special.

Notably, there was a tag match involving the Four Horsewomen near the tail end of 2019 but the teams were different. Then, Bayley and Sasha Banks teamed up against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Things were a bit different back in 2014.

Back then, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks were known as Team B.A.E., while Bayley and Charlotte Flair were babyfaces at the time. The four talented women worked a very good tag that helped showcase why were so special.

The feud between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair was one of the best things about 2018. They typically had good matches but saved their best work for the first (and only to this point) all-female PPV in company history. That was when Flair and Lynch met in the first-ever Last Woman Standing match on the main roster

They ended up having one of the best women's matches in company history. It was brutal, lasted nearly 30 minutes, and saw Lynch score arguably the biggest win of her career,

5 NXT: Bayley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair - NXT 4/22/15

At the time that this happened, it was easily the biggest win of Becky Lynch's WWE career. She faced off against a former NXT Women's Champion in Charlotte Flair and one of the brand's hottest stars in Bayley. The winner would earn a shot at the NXT Women's Title.

The ladies put on one of NXT's most underrated matches ever. The contest was pretty great and saw Becky cover Bayley while she was trapped in the Figure Eight. It was the first sign that the brand believed in her.

4 Main Roster: Asuka vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair - TLC 2018

Smackdown put their three best women together in a huge main event at TLC 2018. Becky Lynch battled her biggest rival in Charlotte Flair and her future nemesis, Asuka. They did so under TLC rules.

They used the expected tables, ladders, and chairs as weapons but also made sure to throw in kendo sticks. It ended up being one of the best TLC matches ever. Some interference by Ronda Rousey cost Becky and Charlotte the match, giving Asuka a huge win.

3 NXT: Bayley vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks - TakeOver: Rival

If there's one way to guarantee that a match will be spectacular, it's to include the Four Horsewomen. That's what happened at TakeOver: Rival when Bayley, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks did battle on a big stage. It's incredible to have that much talent in one contest.

The match didn't even go over 15 minutes but was filled with action from bell to bell. Each woman got a chance to shine. The notable thing was that this was Becky's first TakeOver performance. She was able to let the world know that she was as good, if not better than, these other women.

2 Main Roster: Asuka vs. Becky Lynch - Royal Rumble 2019

After Asuka captured the Smackdown Women's Title at the end of 2018, Becky Lynch desperately wanted it back. That set up a clash at Royal Rumble 2019 in front of a massive crowd. Although the show had several great matches, this was the best.

Becky Lynch and Asuka delivered a classic that will go down as one of the best women's matches of all time. Becky seemed on the verge of regaining her gold several times, only for Asuka to always have an answer. Asuka made her tap, handing Becky her last clean loss for over a year.

1 NXT: Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks - TakeOver: Unstoppable

Honestly, if it wasn't for this match, nobody would be talking about Becky Lynch. She had mostly flown under the radar in NXT until this point. She debuted a new look and theme on this night and stepped up to face Sasha Banks for the NXT Women's Title.

They put on a gem of a match. Both ladies showcased that women's wrestling was something special. Although Becky didn't come out victorious, she won over the hearts of the fans who sang her theme song after the match. Becky had arrived. Without this, she probably wouldn't have been called up in the next few months.
