Becky Lynch has responded to Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir labeling her and her fellow Horsewomen as being the faux version of the iconic group.

For a while now WWE has been low key teasing that there could be a WWE horsewomen versus MMA horsewomen dream match taking place somewhere down the line. The four wrestlers that make up the group in WWE are Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. On the MMA side of things its Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir and Jessamyn Duke.

Up until recently, the match was only a pipe dream. That's because Shafir and Duke were not signed to WWE contracts. Well, now that has all changed. The final two horsewomen are now signed to WWE so we are one step closer to that epic eight-person match. Shafir and Duke have even already thrown some shade at their pro wrestling counterparts, labeling them the "faux horsewomen".

Naturally, that didn't go unnoticed by the women being insulted, and Becky Lynch recently hit back at their rivals during a short interview with BANG Showbiz. Lynch labeled the four MMA turned WWE Superstars "donkey-women" and described what she and her fellow horsewomen have done in WWE so far as a cake that Rousey and co aren't welcome to have a slice of.

"It's just a delightful cake, and they wanna come in, they wanna eat all of our cake. It's not your cake!", Lynch exclaimed during her interesting analogy. This isn't the first time the two quartets have gone back and forth of course. The MMA horsewomen were present during the Mae Young Classic to cheer on Shayna Baszler, and the groups' paths crossed a couple of times during the tournament.

If there is going to be a horsewomen versus horsewomen match, then it probably won't be for a while yet. Baszler and Rousey are still in the infancies of their pro wrestling careers, and Shafir and Duke have only just started training. When it does happen though it will be an extremely big deal. Since it'll be an eight-woman tag match then maybe it will go down at a Survivor Series, so perhaps WWE has one eye on the 2019 installment of the PPV.
