Becky Lynch would love to take on Stephanie McMahon. She has played an integral part in the Women's Revolution in the WWE, making the females more talented and respected than ever before. The Irish sensation has defeated some of the top talents on the roster, including Charlotte, Mickie James, and Paige, among others.
Lynch has an impressive resume of opponents defeated, but she's shooting for the stars and would like to face one of the biggest names in the industry. During an interview with Digital Spy, Lynch said she would love to face Raw commissioner, Stephanie McMahon.
"I would love to step in the ring with Stephanie McMahon – she's an incredible woman and amazing at what she does in how she can get the attention of the audience. To be able to step in there and face her would be a great opportunity."
Stephanie has been more of an authority figure than a wrestler since her permanent return to the company a few years back. Her last match was against Brie Bella SummerSlam 2014, where Nikki turned on her sister and helped McMahon win the match. Prior to that, McMahon defeated Vickie Guerrero in a mud wrestling match on a June 2014 edition of Monday Night Raw. That was Stephanie's first match in 11 years.
Though having Lynch face McMahon would put hype through the roof, WWE seems more bent on keeping the Raw commissioner out of matches. Given her limited ability in the ring, it's unlikely Stephanie and Lynch would actually put on a quality match.
But if the creative team decided it would help boost Lynch's character and momentum, then it's possible she could get the chance to face the Billion Dollar Princess. That match likely wouldn't happen for a while, as Stephanie has only appeared on television twice since WrestleMania 33. Until/unless she's on programming more frequently, a Lynch vs. Stephanie match will remain a pipe dream.
