Becky Lynch teamed with Seth Rollins to take on Mike and Maria Kanellis on Raw and the match did not go the way we expected.

WWE has really been playing up the real-life relationship between Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. So much so that the two will both be defending their titles in the same match at Extreme Rules. Should Lynch be pinned by Lacey Evans or Rollins get beaten by Baron Corbin in that match, both of them will lose their championships.

That means there will naturally be a lot of pressure on both of them at the PPV, especially if it will have been the first time they ever teamed together. Thankfully, it won't be. While discussing the match backstage on Raw, the couple was interrupted by Maria and Mike Kanellis. Maria challenged the two to a match later that evening, and Rollins and Becky accepted.

After Mike took quite the beating from Rollins, he looked to tag in his loving wife. However, Maria was reluctant to tag in and take on Becky. Instead, with Lynch bearing down, she grabbed a mic and verbally castrated her husband. She then proceeded to scream that she was pregnant before The Man could give her what she had coming to her.

Things only got stranger from that moment on. Since a potentially pregnant Maria was now off limits, Lynch turned her attention to Mike. The Women's Champion slapped Mike in the Dis-Arm-Her, or Dis-Arm-Him in this case, and forced him to tap. Having just discovered that his wife is pregnant, the defeated Kanellis was naturally feeling about 50 different emotions all at once after the loss.

Maria continued to demean her husband after the match, questioning how someone as unmanly as Mike could have possibly got her pregnant. Then came the weirdest line of the night. Maria exclaiming that next time she wants to get pregnant, she'd be better off going to The Man. Not sure Lynch would be on board with that. A baffling angle that came out of the blue, but we are intrigued to see where WWE is going with it.
