The Bella Twins had an amazing career over the course of their time in WWE, reaching the top of the industry as they helped to create a brand new audience for the company with their work in the reality television world. While Nikki and Brie had some great moments and brilliant matches, not everything was perfect across their careers.
The two women were always entertaining, but they didn't manage to avoid embarrassment throughout their careers. Whether it be mishaps on the microphone, in the ring, or terrible storylines that they were involved in, the Bella's had their fair share of embarrassing moments.
10 "Nikki's Trashy Sister"
The big storyline that the twins had against each other was one that people didn't really enjoy and never made much sense considering the fact that everyone knew they were incredibly close as friends.
However, it led to some awful promos that are embarrassing to look back at. Nikki telling Brie she should disown the name Bella and be known as "Nikki's Trashy Sister"
9 Getting Cut
Anytime a match that is announced ends up being cut, it is an embarrassing situation for everyone involved, but when that takes place at WrestleMania, the situation is only amplified.
Sadly for The Bella Twins, at WrestleMania 29, that is what happened as their mixed-tag team match was pulled from the card at the last minute. The whole thing was shown on Total Divas, which only added to the situation in what was clearly an emotional time for them.
8 Neither Of Them Can Win Daniel Bryan
While this storyline likely put Brie Bella and Daniel Bryan closer together behind the scenes, eventually setting up their real-life marriage, on television that wasn't the case. They had a storyline with Bryan where both women were trying to win him over.
In the end, Bryan actually chose Gail Kim, which was an embarrassing situation for them on-screen.
7 Nikki Wrestles Nikki
On an episode of SmackDown back in 2017, Nikki Bella teamed with John Cena for a tag team match where they took on Breezango. However, Breezango went all out to entertain here, which led to Tyler Breeze actually dressing as Nikki himself.
It led to a hilarious visual with Breeze wearing the same ring gear and a wig and seeing Breeze face off and wrestle Nikki was certainly an embarrassing moment for her, even though it was funny.
6 Wardrobe Malfunction
Every now and then, wardrobe malfunctions happen in wrestling to both men and women. It's often accidental and, unfortunately, that did happen to Brie Bella during her career in an in-ring promo segment hosted by The Miz.
Brie was sitting in the ring when her dress didn't cover her quite as much as she had hoped, which led to an embarrassing moment on live television. Brie did take to social media to apologize after it though.
5 Starting To Sing
During their time on Total Divas, Nikki and Brie ended up doing a lot of different things, and one of those saw them try their hands at singing. It created a hilarious moment on the show, but it was one that was embarrassing for the two of them.
While they might be talented wrestlers and great businesswomen, the same cannot be said for their singing. They won't be releasing an album any time soon, as this situation highlighted.
4 Blocking Contracts
Backstage politics is something that goes on in wrestling, and unfortunately, people don't always act in the best interests of everybody. While the Bella Twins went on to become locker room leaders, there were moments when they got called out for sabotaging the return of other wrestlers.
Maria Kanellis, Maryse, and Kelly Kelly have all spoken about this in the past, and it doesn't paint the twins in a great light, which is quite embarrassing for them.
3 Suicide Dive Goes Wrong
Anytime someone takes a risk with a highflying move, the risk is always there that something could go wrong. Sadly, that happened a couple of times in Brie Bella's career, with some suicide dives that went very wrong.
There were moments that had fans worried at some points, but one of them saw her flop over the second rope in a manner that certainly was embarrassing due to just how wrong it went.
2 Brie Mode
Total Divas has shown every detail of both Nikki and Brie's lives, and that includes what they get up to when they celebrate and party. This is what has created the birth of Brie Mode, which is when she ends up getting far too drunk.
There's been a lot of hilarious and embarrassing moments for her in that situation. Whether it's dancing and falling to the floor or when she tried to handcuff Daniel Bryan after she got back to the hotel from drinking, which were embarrassing situations.
1 "I Wish You Died In The Womb"
In what will go down as one of the worst segments in Raw history, the 'Family Reconciliation" between the Bella Twins after their fallout was a complete disaster from start to finish.
The whole segment was Nikki running down her sister while she did some very poor 'crying' which wasn't good to watch. But the worst moment came when Nikki told Brie she wished she had died in the womb, which was an embarrassing moment for both of them to be involved in.
