10 Eddie Guerrero vs John Cena Parking Lot Brawl (Smackdown: September 11, 2003)

The 2003 rivalry between Eddie Guerrero and John Cena helped both men in their careers. Cena had one of his first major storylines that made him more relevant while Guerrero started to showcase his overall greatness.

Both men would get more violent here in the Parking Lot Brawl for the United States Championship. Wrestlers watched in the parking lot as Guerrero and Cena beat the hell out of each other using cars as weapons. Eddie won the match by hitting a Frog Splash on Cena on the hood of a car.

9 Eddie Guerrero vs Batista (No Mercy 2005)

Eddie Guerrero’s last storyline in WWE featured him working with World Champion Batista. The heel character of Guerrero featured him trying to manipulate faces with the lying, cheating and stealing tactics to gain an advantage.

Batista was always aware of Eddie’s tricks leading to fun moments segments between the two. The main event of No Mercy 2005 entertained the audience with Batista retaining the title in a great match. 8 Eddie Guerrero vs Rob Van Dam Ladder Match (Raw: May 27, 2002)

The Ladder match between Eddie Guerrero and Rob Van Dam main took place during the May 27, 2002 episode of Raw. Both wrestlers were rising stars shortly into their WWE career and had the mutual finishing move of the Frog Splash.

Guerrero and Van Dam faced off on Raw in a Ladder match with the Intercontinental Championship on the line. They utilized the ladder quite well for both graceful and violent spots in the match. Many fans will remember Eddie attacking a fan for entering the ring, but RVD came out as the winner.

7 Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio Ladder Match (Summerslam 2005)

Another impressive Ladder match in Eddie Guerrero’s history came with an unusual prize hanging above the ring. WWE ran a controversial storyline to turn Guerrero heel by claiming he was the birth father of Rey’s son Dominic and wanted custody solely as revenge.

6 Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr vs. El Hijo De Santo and Octagon (When Worlds Collide 1994)

The historic When Worlds Collide event in 1994 was promoted and distributed by AAA and WCW. Fans most remember the tag team match of Eddie Guerrero and Art Barr vs. El Hijo De Santo and Octagon stealing the show with a classic.

Guerrero was the star of the match as he shined on his own and had superb chemistry with Barr. WCW and other promotions started taking notice of Eddie after this match allowed him to break out on a bigger stage. Guerrero appeared in ECW and signed a contract with WCW shortly after this outstanding tag match.

5 Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle (WrestleMania 20)

The technical wrestling showcased in the WWE Championship match between Eddie Guerrero and Kurt Angle made it a classic at WrestleMania 20. Guerrero was having his first major title defense against a now heel Angle taking issue with Eddie’s reputation.

The match had the perfect combination of beautiful wrestling and a personal story. Guerrero used his cheating tactics to fool Angle when untying his boots leading to the Ankle Lock not being as effective when he used it. The counter would see Eddie get a small package pin for the victory in an outstanding match.

4 Eddie Guerrero vs Edge No DQ Match (Smackdown: September 26, 2002)

Smackdown became the exciting show in the early years of the brand split due to new talents like Eddie Guerrero and Edge getting a chance to showcase their skills. The two rising stars had a personal rivalry culminating in a No DQ match in September of 2002.

Guerrero and Edge delivered a classic that was shocking to see on free television since matches this good were typically saved for PPV. Eddie's heel work was at the top of his game putting over Edge here. However, fans respected Guerrero after the performance enough to give him a standing ovation after the loss.

3 Eddie Guerrero vs. Dean Malenko (ECW Hostile City Showdown 1995)

The ECW run of Eddie Guerrero is often forgotten since it was quite short. Paul Heyman saw the talent in Eddie and Dean Malenko, which led to both wrestlers joining the company at the same time. Guerrero and Malenko had their best match at Hostile City Showdown in a half-hour mat classic.

WCW would see the talented cruiserweights often steal the show despite not getting as much attention as the main event veterans. Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio both wanted to prove they were special talents on the night of Halloween Havoc 1997.

Mysterio’s mask was on the line as he challenged Guerrero for the Cruiserweight Championship. The flawless match saw both men dazzling the audience with unbelievable in-ring action. Mysterio scoring the win to keep his mask and win the title received a massive pop. For one night, Eddie and Rey were the best wrestlers in WCW even if the pushes didn’t match it.
