While some promotions like WWE and AEW try to steer clear of intergender wrestling, it's still quite commonplace in other companies. It's even more common on the indies. Even so, WWE has still managed to develop some odd and intriguing intergender feuds over the years.

What's made them interesting is the fact that they haven't always ended in an actual match. Sometimes, those feuds are wars of words, and they get worked out by proxy. But there are other times that intergender feuds end with straight-up, old school beat downs. And the winners aren't always who fans expect.

10 Stephanie McMahon & Chris Jericho

Intergender Wrestling

To this day, Chris Jericho's WWF debut remains one of the biggest and best of all time. The build-up was incredible, as was his war of words with The Rock. But things got really interesting when he started feuding with Stephanie McMahon.

While he ended up wrestling Triple H, Jericho's ongoing promos with Steph were absolutely insane. He talked some serious trash about the boss's daughter, more than most wrestlers probably have ever been allowed to. It all led to one of the oddest rivalries in the history of WWF/E, which continued for several years.

9 Lita & Dean Malenko

Intergender Wrestling

At the height of the Monday Night Wars, WCW started losing some of their best and most underrated talent to WWF. Chris Jericho, The Big Show, and several more made the leap. That included a group of four wrestlers collectively known as The Radicalz, consisting of Chris Benoit, Perry Saturn, Eddie Guerrero, and Dean Malenko.

At one point, Malenko developed a kayfabe love interest in Lita. She did not share his affections, though. Their whole angle led to an actual match between the two which Malenko won. It was a solid feud for both sides.

8 Kylie Rae & Ethan Page

Intergender Wrestling

Describing Kylie Rae as a fan favorite would be an understatement. Trained by Booker T, Rae competed in the indies for four years with brief stints in Impact and AEW. Unfortunately, Rae recently retired from pro wrestling for personal reasons but her fans continue to hope that she's doing well.

Kylie Rae held the Freelance World Championship in 2019, which led to a feud with Ethan Page over the title. The two wrestlers had an interesting in-ring dynamic and played well off each other.

7 Sable & Marc Mero

Intergender Wrestling

WWF/E has had more than a few top competitors in the Women's Division over the years. But before the Women's Revolution, the Diva era or the Lita and Trish feud, there was Sable. She was the number one woman in WWE for years.

She started as the valet from Marc Mero but quickly overshadowed him. That led to a lot of animosity, particularly from Marc Mero's corner. It built into a feud between the two that led to a match in which Sable hit Mero with a hell of a powerbomb. From that point on, their careers diverged with Sable heading for superstardom.

6 Molly Holly & Crash Holly

Intergender Wrestling

The Hollys were one of the more unique kayfabe families in the WWF. It started with Hardcore Holly but slowly led to the introductions of his cousins Crash Holly and Molly Holly. Things got even more interesting when Molly fell in love with Spike Dudley, creating a whole Romeo and Juliet thing between the two families.

Crash disapproved of the relationship, which didn't stop Molly from seeing Spike. The whole thing led to a feud between Crash and Molly. It was an interesting angle during an odd time in WWF.

5 Jacqueline & Chavo Guerrero

Intergender Wrestling

The Guerreros are one of the most respected families in wrestling for good reason. It includes talented names like Chavo Guerrero and the late Eddie Guerrero. Chavo also worked for WWE, holding several championships throughout his run.

After winning the Cruiserweight Championship from Rey Mysterio, Chavo went on to successfully defend it from the likes of Funaki, Ultimo Dragon and Spike Dudley. But after issuing an open challenge, Chavo would lose the title to Jacqueline. It was a short run as she would lose the title back to Chavo 10 days later at Judgement Day.

4 Chyna & Chris Jericho

Intergender Wrestling

Possibly the greatest, and most influential, female performer in WWF/E was the late superstar Chyna. After debuting as Triple H's bodyguard, she went on to have a solid career on her own. She even held the Intercontinental Championship on two separate occasions during that career.

After winning the title, Chyna ended up feuding with Chris Jericho. It built up to a match at Survivor Series in 1999. Chyna came out on top, retaining the title and continuing her reign as the Intercontinental Champion.

3 Madusa & Evan Karagias

Intergender Wrestling

Madusa is used to making history in wrestling. She became the WWF Women's Champion, only to leave for WCW, and infamously dropped the belt in the trash on air. But she also made history at Starrcade in 1999.

She ended up in a feud with then WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Evan Karagias. Madusa faced him for his title at Starrcade. Evan's manager, Spice, turned on him during the match with a low blow. This helped Madusa get the win and become the first woman to hold the WCW Cruiserweight Championship.

2 Chyna & Jeff Jarrett

Intergender Wrestling

Jeff Jarrett has proven to be one of the more contentious figures in wrestling over the years. That being said, his current run with WWE behind the scenes seems a lot more calm and professional than his earlier time.

During his first run with WWF, Jeff ended up in a long feud with Chyna that became a fan favorite. It would eventually lead to a Good Housekeeping match at No Mercy in 1999. Chyna won the match and took Jarrett's Intercontinental Championship, becoming the first and only woman to win the title. It was also Jarrett's last match with the company until Royal Rumble 2019.

1 Tessa Blanchard & Sammi Callihan

Intergender Wrestling

The wrestling pedigree of Tessa Blanchard is undeniable. Her father is Tully Blanchard, a legendary former member of The Four Horsemen. But Tessa has done much more than trade off of her father's name.

Tessa's time in Impact put her firmly in the upper echelon of wrestlers. She and Sami Callihan engaged in a huge feud over the Impact World Championship. It would lead to a match at Hard to Kill in early 2020 which saw Tessa win the title. Her reign came to a much less auspicious end than how it started.
