Survivor Series might be the least talked about of the traditional 'big four' PPVs, but it consistently provides some of the greatest matches of the year, including the traditional 5 vs 5 Survivor Series matches.

Everyone loves these elimination style matches that normally feature several different rivalries all combined into one, sometimes within the same team which leads to chaos ensuing.

With Survivor Series 2019 right around the corner, this match type will no doubt be returning with more dream teams being created. So, with that in mind, let's take a look back at the 10 greatest Survivor Series teams of the last decade.

10 Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Chris Masters, Kofi Kingston, & MVP (2010)

We start off with a successful team from 2010 which was actually billed as 'Team Mysterio' that year, as his feud with Alberto Del Rio, who captained the other team, continued during that year's Survivor Series.

Mysterio picked a fantastic team that had a perfect blend of styles and sizes, with Mysterio and Kofi Kingston providing the aerial threats, with Chris Masters and Big Show having the muscle, while MVP brought a technical style to the match.

In the end, it would be the little/big combination of Big Show and Rey Mysterio that were the survivors of this team after what was a very fun classic five on five match.

9 John Morrison, Evan Bourne, Finlay, Matt Hardy, & Shelton Benjamin (2009)

The year before saw 'Team Morrison' take on 'Team Miz,' and it was the babyface team featuring John Morrison that might have lost the match, but certainly had the better team on paper.

Morrison's team blended upcoming talents with experience perfectly, with Matt Hardy, Shelton Benjamin, and Finlay being veterans of the business by this point, while also still being able to go at the highest level.

However, it was Morrison and Evan Bourne who really stood out on this team and in this match, which featured a lot of future talents.

8 Kofi Kingston, Christian, MVP, R-Truth, & Mark Henry (2009)

2009 saw two Survivor Series matches take place, with the other seeing Team Kingston take on Team Orton during the middle of their tremendous feud that was recently discussed plenty of times during their WWE Championship feud.

Unlike John Morrison's team, Kofi's group managed to get the victory over an equally impressive Team Orton, with only Kingston managing to survive as he toppled CM Punk and Randy Orton at the very end.

Kingston's team was jam-packed with talent and wrestlers who had been around the company for a long time, and their in-ring chemistry worked perfectly in this match.

7 Sasha Banks, Nia Jax, Asuka, Alicia Fox, & Bayley (2017)

2017 was an incredible year for the Survivor Series PPV, with this being one of the best in modern history as WWE created several memorable moments and one of the very best women's Survivor Series matches was part of that.

Both of these teams were stacked full of talent, proving just how impressive the women's roster had grown to be, but it was certainly the Raw team that had the better of the two teams.

With both Sasha Banks and Asuka tearing things up, as well as Bayley and Nia Jax both in red hot patches while Alicia Fox also had plenty of momentum behind her at this point, the star power in this team was simply undeniable.

6 The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Shane McMahon, Samoa Joe, & Jeff Hardy (2018)

The most recent traditional Survivor Series match saw The Miz team up with Rey Mysterio, Shane McMahon, Samoa Joe, and Jeff Hardy in what was another star-studded team.

Despite the fact that they ended up losing to the Raw team on the night, simply seeing this group together was enough for many fans, with this really being a dream team.

It is rare that WWE puts so many stars in the same match, and, when you consider how many of those names have been around the business for years, it really was a nice throwback at the same time.

5 John Cena, Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, & Ryback (2014)

On paper, this team might not be as impressive as others on this list, with several names that aren't exactly top tier main event stars, however, on the night this match was absolutely electric.

Taking on Team Authority, the entire WWE Universe was behind this random group of misfits, and, while you would think it was John Cena who would have carried the team to victory, this was actually a night for Dolph Ziggler.

With the usual Big Show heel turn and the numbers disadvantage, WWE made Ziggler look incredible by coming out on top here in a moment that also featured the debut of Sting in the WWE.

4 Shane McMahon, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura, Randy Orton, & John Cena (2017)

The 2017 traditional Survivor Series match really was a special one that has gone down in history due to how much star power was on display within one match, as WWE absolutely loaded the main event.

Each team had a great balance of stars from the past and from the present, bringing together dream scenarios that many didn't think were possible, as this team proves.

Bringing John Cena, Randy Orton, and Shane McMahon together with Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura made this one of the most star-studded teams in Survivor Series history.

3 Daniel Bryan, Kane, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, & Randy Orton (2012)

Representing Team Foley, WWE put together a brilliant group of talents that saw Daniel Bryan, Kane, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, and Randy Orton together as one team, which on paper seems unstoppable.

Of course, in WWE anything can happen, and, on this night, the team was actually on the losing end of the battle to a very average Survivor Series team.

However, that doesn't mean that Team Foley wasn't one of the best teams in the last decade of the event, as the group featured too many stars for it not to be considered as such.

2 Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, & Seth Rollins (2016)

Just look at this team, you will struggle to find a greater Survivor Series team than this, with so much star power that it is almost unbelievable, and with WWE bringing together five men at their absolute peak.

Most teams with Chris Jericho in them would simply rely on him to be the star name, but this match also featured Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, as well as Kevin Owens, who was the Universal Champion at the time.

As well as that, Braun Strowman was on fire at this point, and that made this a monster of a team despite the fact that they were beaten in what remains one of the greatest Survivor Series matches of all time.

1 Kurt Angle, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Braun Strowman, & Triple H (2017)

Just look at this team, it is absolutely loaded with talent as WWE put together some of the best wrestlers of the current day with two of the all-time greats in a team that really got the wrestling world talking.

Seeing people like Finn Balor and Samoa Joe on the same team as Triple H was a dream for many fans. It didn't disappoint, as this team dominated the match on the night, picking up the victory.

But it wasn't about the win that made this team so special; it was simply seeing so many stars be placed together, on the same unit for one night only, creating a team that will never be forgotten by fans.
