We all know that The Grandest Stage Of Them All is a place where only a select handful of superstars shine. Not just anyone gets a WrestleMania match, and even fewer can say that they won a match.

There's a signficant handful of very talented wrestlers who never managed to win a match at WrestleMania, despite being given multiple opportunities. For example, some of these wrestlers are WWE Hall of Famers but incredibly could never win at the “Show of Shows”. So here are the top 10 wrestlers who never won a match at WrestleMania.

10 The Dudley Boyz

The Dudley Boyz

Bubba Ray Dudley and D-Von Dudley formed one of the best tag teams in WWE history, but they are winless at WrestleMania. They starred in a brutal rivalry with The Hardy Boyz and Christian and Edge, whom they faced two consecutive years at WrestleMania (2000 and 2001) and both matches were won by Edge and Christian.

At WrestleMania X-8, they participated in a Fatal Four-Way Elimination match for the World Tag Team Titles, which ended with Billy and Chuck's victory. And The Dudley Boyz's last appearance was at WrestleMania XX, where they couldn't win either, as Booker T and Rob Van Dam retained the belts in a Four Way match.

9 William Regal

William Regal

William Regal only had two WrestleMania matches and lost both of them. On April 1, 2001, at WrestleMania X-7, William Regal lost to Chris Jericho in an Intercontinental Title Match and one year later, at WrestleMania X-8, Regal failed again in his attempt to win the Intercontinental Championship, but this time against Rob Van Dam.

Regal was never a top superstar, but it is still surprising that he could not win a match at "The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment".

8 Paul Orndorff

Paul Orndorff

WWE Hall of Famer Paul Orndorff was a big part of the early days of WWE's Golden Era, often facing off against their superhero Hulk Hogan. However, he never managed to win a match at WrestleMania, but this is understandable as he left the company in 1988.

“Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff teamed up with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper to face Hulk Hogan and Mr. T at the first-ever WrestleMania PPV. Hogan and Mr. T won the match after 13 minutes.

Orndorff had another opportunity at WrestleMania II, where he faced off against The Magnificent Muraco, but the bout ended in a double count-out.

7 Bob Backlund

Backlund vs Hart WrestleMania

Bob Backlund is mostly remembered for his extraordinary 2135-day World Heavyweight Title reign, the second-longest in WWE history. Can you believe Backlund never won a match at WrestleMania?

Bob Backlund lost to Razor Ramon at WrestleMania IX in less than four minutes. Backlund also lost to The Hitman Bret Hart at WrestleMania XI, this was an I Quit Match with Roddy Piper as a special referee, it was pretty fun to watch with Piper constantly screaming "WHAT DO YOU SAY?" to both participants. Backlund was 46 years old at the time but that didn't stop him from putting on a good show.

6 Goldust

Goldust

Goldust (better known as Dustin Rhodes in All Elite Wrestling) has the worst losing streak in WrestleMania history, as he is winless in seven matches.

Undoubtedly, Goldust's best performance at The Showcase of the Immortals was on March 23, 1997 at WrestleMania 13, when he faced off against Hunter Hearst Helmsley in a pretty good match. Goldust lost, but he did his job entertaining the fans.

The last time Goldust competed at WrestleMania was in 2016, at the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which Baron Corbin won.

5 Wade Barrett

Many believe that this excellent talent was wasted, despite being a five-time Intercontinental Champion. Truth be told, Wade Barrett deserved much more, at least a victory at WrestleMania, where he had two matches.

Barrett was part of The Corre when they lost to Kane, Kofi Kingston, Santino Marella and The Big Show at WrestleMania 27. In addition, Wade Barrett lost the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 31 in a Seven Way Ladder match, which Daniel Bryan won.

It is also worth mentioning that Wade Barrett lost the Intercontinental Title to The Miz in the WrestleMania XXIX pre-show.

4 Sid

SID WWE

Sid lost his two matches at WrestleMania, but he had to face two legends. On April 5, 1992, at WrestleMania VIII, Sid Justice faced off against Hulk Hogan in a classic hard-hitting match. Sid was amazing but lost by disqualification.

On March 23, 1997, at WrestleMania 13, The Undertaker challenged Sycho Sid to a No Disqualification match for the WWE Title. Bret Hart attacked Sid with a steel chair and The Deadman seized the moment to perform the Tombstone Piledriver and win his sixth WrestleMania match in a row.

3 Ken Shamrock

Ken Shamrock

During his short stint in WWE, Ken Shamrock proved to be a very talented wrestler, who probably would have been more successful had he stayed for a few more years. The former Intercontinental Champion had two matches at "The Showcase of the Immortals".

On March 29, 1998 at WrestleMania XIV, Shamrock wrestled The Rock, a match that was interesting but ended quickly due to Shamrock being disqualified. And the following year, at WrestleMania XV, The Road Dogg defeated Ken Shamrock, Goldust and Val Venis to retain the Intercontinental Title.

2 Finlay

Finlay was a great wrestler, but what many don't know is that he had four matches at the “Show of Shows" and couldn't win any of them. Three of those were Money In The Bank Ladder matches, at WrestleMania 22 Rob Van Dam won, at WrestleMania 23 Mr. Kennedy won and at WrestleMania 25 the winner of the match was CM Punk.

Finlay's only WrestleMania singles match was against John Bradshaw Layfield at WrestleMania 24, which JBL won in just over nine minutes.

1 Jimmy Snuka

Jimmy snuka

Jimmy Snuka did not win any title in WWE, but there is no doubt how much he contributed to the company, and in other promotions like NWA he proved that he was capable of being a great champion.

Snuka had three WrestleMania matches. The first was against Rick Rude in 1990, a match that Snuka easily lost. At WrestleMania VII, Jimmy Snuka became the first victim of The Undertaker, who took the victory in less than five minutes.

18 years later, Snuka returned to The Grandest Stage Of Them All and joined forces with Ricky Steamboat and Roddy Piper to face Chris Jericho, who won the match.
