When it comes to in-ring talent, this decade has seen WWE have it's most talented roster. The WWE Universe has been truly spoiled by the riches of amazing wrestling matches and handpicking just 10 isn't an easy task.

Even though there have been a few forgettable matches here and there, overall the quality has been incredibly high. So, within this list, we will be ranking the 10 greatest WWE main roster matches of this decade.

10 The Shield vs Ryback & Team Hell No (TLC 2012)

We kickstart this list with an incredible six-man tag-team TLC match, which was actually the in-ring debut of The Shield. All six men put on an unbelievable performance, proving just how talented they were.

With a mix of technical wrestling, huge power moves and some monstrous sized bumps that really showed how far they were willing to go. With Seth Rollins flying off a massive ladder, crashing through a set of tables, he instantly won over the fans.

Even though hardcore wrestling fans might have known who The Shield were, the majority of fans did not. The trio got themselves over in an incredible fashion with an amazing match that everyone should see.

9 Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston (WrestleMania 35)

When it comes to historic moments from this decade, this match is one of the greatest. With the emotional story going into it and the fact that Kofi Kingston was crowned as the first African American WWE Champion, this was incredible.

However, it isn't just about the historical importance of the match that makes it great. Putting Daniel Bryan and Kingston together in a match is always going to create a brilliant match, and thankfully this didn't disappoint.

The two men put on a technical classic, with a high paced match that stole the entire show. The WWE Universe was emotionally invested and Bryan was the perfect heel to play off Kofi here, creating an unforgettable match.

8 Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks (WrestleMania 32)

When you look back in the history books, this triple threat match will be seen as a crucial moment in the women's evolution. With the Divas Title gone, this really was the big turning point that showed WWE was going to take women seriously.

Because it was such a historic occasion, the three women involved had to deliver and they went above and beyond. This match ended up stealing the entire show as all three women brought everything they had.

Nobody knew how this was going to go and therefore every near fall got the crowd going. With each woman getting their time to shine and some amazing sequence wrestling, this triple threat goes down as one of the greatest women's matches ever.

7 Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn (Battleground 2016)

There is a reason people chant "fight forever," when Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are around. The two men create magic together in the ring because they have such good chemistry after spending their whole careers together.

They finally got a chance to prove that on the main roster at Battleground in 2016 when they had an amazing singles match against each other. After doing it all around the world for different companies, it was great to see it happen in WWE.

This was an amazing match that was done at a breathtaking pace. There was no slowing down and it was full of high spots and big moves making it a whirlwind experience.

6 AJ Styles vs John Cena (Royal Rumble 2017)

AJ Styles and John Cena facing each other was something that nobody expected to ever take place. Thankfully, WWE brought us a trilogy of matches between them and the two wrestling legends put on a series of clinics.

The final match of the series took place at Royal Rumble 2017, and it was the best of the bunch. With a huge crowd and the WWE Championship on the line, the stakes were set high for a fantastic bout.

Going back and forth with some amazing near falls, reversals and superb sequences, they kept an incredibly high pace throughout. Eventually, Cena came out on top, tieing Ric Flair's 16 World Title record.

5 Daniel Bryan vs John Cena (SummerSlam 2013)

Despite people having strange opinions that John Cena cannot wrestle, he has featured in many of the decades best matches. Another classic that he had happened at SummerSlam in 2013.

Wrestling through a serious elbow injury, John Cena once again showed the world how great of a wrestler he truly is. Mixing it up and showing some new moves he really did a fantastic job of matching Daniel Bryan in the technical department.

While this moment was all about Bryan becoming the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. The drama continued post-match when Randy Orton cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to end that dream early.

4 The Usos vs New Day (Hell In A Cell 2017)

Nowadays, WWE rushes every feud into the steel structure, even when there is no need for it. However, at Hell in a Cell in 2017, the feud between New Day and The Usos came to an end in fitting style with a match inside the steel.

The five men created some amazingly innovative spots that had never been seen before inside Hell in a Cell, which made it unique. With real hate, yet deep respect for each other, you could sense how much each team wanted to win.

While it isn't a classic tag team match, with no actual tags happening, that didn't stop it being an amazing match.

3 Brock Lesnar vs John Cena vs Seth Rollins (Royal Rumble 2015)

This match was pure chaos and in the best way possible as Seth Rollins, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar battled it out for the WWE Championship. Triple threat matches are easy to go wrong, but this was proof of how good they can be when they go right.

With Lesnar the favorite, he threw his weight around early, dominating with some huge power moves. However, Cena and Rollins also had plenty of offense in what was a very well balanced match.

The match built perfectly with an amazing finish. With Rollins putting Lesnar through the announce table, it seemed like he was out of the match completely. Yet he somehow stumbled his way to victory at the last second in a thrilling finish.

2 John Cena vs CM Punk (Money In The Bank 2011)

You don't need a wrestling masterclass to create unforgettable wrestling matches, and this proves it. While the wrestling is of a very high standard, it really is all about the story and the emotion involved that made it a classic.

Taking place in Chicago, this was one of the greatest crowds of the decade. The fans were firmly behind CM Punk, despite the fact he promised to quit the company with the WWE Title if he won.

The two men played the story to perfection in this match, building the tension all the way. With Vince McMahon trying to get involved and Cena refusing, leading to Punk's victory it led to the amazing image of him blowing a kiss to his boss as he left through the fans.

1 The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 26)

It was the Streak vs the Career in a match that blew away everyone's expectations in one of WrestleMania's greatest ever main events. While The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels put on a clinic the year before, the sequel saw the stakes raised.

With HBK's amazing career on the line, there was a real feeling that he might have what it takes to topple the Deadman. With the emotions raised in this one, the two wrestling legends put on an equally entertaining match as their first.

Full of amazing near falls, the duo proved just how great their in-ring chemistry is together. While it created a massively emotional moment with Michaels' retirement, the match was one that will go down in history.
