Beth Phoenix returned to television last week for a segment involving her husband's feud with Randy Orton, and it may not be long until she makes another in-ring comeback.

On Tuesday, Phoenix seemed to hint towards a potential return to the squared circle after posting this tweet:

With WrestleMania 36 is right around the corner, now would be the opportune time for Phoenix to return to the ring. In fact, it's been suggested that she will take part in a major championship match at WrestleMania.

Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT recently reported that there will be a three-way match for the Kabuki Warriors' Women's Tag Team Championships. Phoenix and Natalya will reportedly reunite as the Divas of Doom, with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross also vying for the titles.

Phoenix has suited up for a handful of matches ever since she retired in 2012. She competed in the 2018 and 2020 women's Royal Rumble matches, as well as an eight-person tag team match on the Apr. 1, 2019 edition of Raw.

The Divas of Doom also reunited at WrestleMania 35 last year, competing in a fatal four-way tag match for the Women's Tag Team Championships, which were captured by The IIconics.

Phoenix returned on Raw last week to provide an update on Edge, who was viciously attacked by Orton one day after his illustrious return at Royal Rumble. The Viper and Phoenix engaged in a tense confrontation, and it ended when he performed an RKO on her. Edge returned this week and engaged in a brief scuffle with Orton before the former opted to attack MVP with a steel chair.

A Happy Family WWE Homecoming?

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it looks like the popular Hall of Fame wrestling couple could be back in the ring for WrestleMania. All signs are pointing towards Edge vs. Orton in Tampa Bay, and there's obviously good reason to think that Phoenix will reform her tag team partnership with Natalya. What a show this would be if both Edge and Phoenix made in-ring returns for WWE's marquee show.
