Tyson Kidd has been out of action since suffering a major neck injury in a dark match against Samoa Joe last year. Kidd suffered the injury when taking a Musclebuster and since then, his wrestling future has been up in the air.
In a report by the Daily Wrestling News, Kidd may be facing a similar situation to Daniel Bryan, who was forced to retire back in February. Bryan was pushed into retirement after WWE doctors refused to clear him and it's very likely Kidd is about to meet the same fate. Kidd was said to be optimistic about a return with his rehab going well, but WWE is being very resistant in clearing him.
On a related note, Kidd's talent contract is said to be expiring soon and the company has indicated they may not re-sign him as a talent.
Sources close to Kidd (TJ Wilson) say he's going to speak publicly to address the situation soon.
