For years WWE aired "Don't Try This At Home Commercials" aimed at kids that highlighted the violent and brutal nature of professional wrestling. WWE may be sports entertainment, but the injuries are real, and even though Corey Graves is now a former wrestler, he found out this past Tuesday that even broadcasters can't escape the dangerous nature of the sport.

It all started when Big E took on The Miz on SmackDown Live. While The New Day is known for throwing pancakes, Big E threw his ring jacket in Graves' direction while he was holding a pencil. That caused the tip of the pencil to become lodged in Graves' palm and Graves took to social media to call out the muscle of The New Day.

Graves then posted a Wanted poster with a highly suggestive "Bitter" Big E posing in a way that may cause nightmares to some.

Big E then responded without the use of words, but with an animated gif directed at Graves.

While trying to *kayfabe* file assault charges against Big E, Graves hit a major snag as apparently "E" isn't his real last name.

Whether this beef is resolved on social media, on SmackDown or is just completely forgotten about (which would be so WWE), we eagerly anticipate the development in #PencilGate.

As for Big E when he's not assaulting wrestlers-turned-broadcasters, he is reportedly in store for a huge push in the near future. The bad news for New Day fans is that his push could come at the expense of his fellow New Day members as there are rumblings that the faction may split up shortly. It remains to be seen what happens to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, but Big E is expected to be in the main event picture in short order.
