With The Shield and New Day expected to face off at Survivor Series on Nov. 19, 2017, a big Roman Reigns fan mentioned Big E on Twitter and warned him about facing off against Reigns.
Big E didn't waste time in throwing shade at Reigns while responding to the fan.
Chill, lady. He’s only about 250. They should call him “The Medium Dog.” Naw...”The Mid Dog.” They should definitely call him “The Mid Dog.” https://t.co/Gapxx1W4jW— ShinigamE (@WWEBigE) November 8, 2017
Even though Reigns has been battling a viral infection, that could force him to miss Survivor Series, he mustered up the energy to fire back at Big E.
Actually I’m closer to 275. I’m also 6 inches taller than “Big” but not that “Tall” E. 😱 https://t.co/YTa2GpPNt5— Roman Reigns (@WWERomanReigns) November 8, 2017
Just like any other good Twitter feud, Big E responded.
That’s right. I’m not tall at all. Thankfully, we’re not hooping, fam. https://t.co/B3C5iKYdyj— ShinigamE (@WWEBigE) November 8, 2017
Reigns is scheduled to make an appearance on Raw next Monday, but there is the chance he won't return to the ring under after Survivor Series, which is why WWE hasn't been marketing him for the pay-per-view event.
If Reigns is back on Raw next week, he should be good to go for Survivor Series.
We can also only hope that Reigns getting into a Twitter battle with Big E means that he'll be ready to go in nine days. We should certainly know by next week whether or not Reigns will be appearing at Survivor Series.
Reigns' current battle with a viral infection is the reason that Kurt Angle had to get back in the ring for the Tables, Ladders and Chairs event that just took place on Oct. 22, 2017, as well as the upcoming Survivor Series.
Of course, the feud between both groups started when The New Day interrupted Raw Tag Team Championship match between Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins with Cesaro and Sheamus, which ended up costing Ambrose and Rollins a chance at winning the titles.
With The Shield reuniting for the first time in years just last month, fans are chomping at the bit to watch them perform together. The viral infection that swept through the WWE locker room has already put a damper on things.
Comment below, do you think Roman Reigns will wrestle at Survivor Series. If so will The Shield come away with a win?
