Big Show is at the end of his legendary career with the occasional return for a handful of matches per year. WWE signed Big Show in 1999 coming off of his WCW run as The Giant and he has been working with the company for over two decades now. Big Show shocked everyone when he attacked his teammates to help Jericho steal the win for Team Smackdown. The aftermath saw Jericho and Big Show teaming up again to feud with Michaels and Triple H for some fun matches.

9 Pointless: Confronting Drew McIntyre After WM 36

One of the more recent returns of Big Show saw him coming back as a heel despite playing a face in his prior appearances. Drew McIntyre defeating Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36 saw Big Show challenging him afterward.

Raw aired the match taped with Big Show threatening to take the title and dreams of McIntyre away from him. Drew ended up defeating Big Show and fans were left confused about the purpose of the angle.

8 Worked: Feuding with The Rock After Controversial Royal Rumble

The Rock and Big Show feuded in early 2000 due to the fallout of the Royal Rumble match. WWE booked the victory for Rock, but the photo finish saw Big Show looking like he won based on replay.

Big Show turned heel by aligning with Shane McMahon. The chemistry between Shane and Big Show allowed them both to benefit from the relationship. Big Show did a good job as a heel against Rock battling over the Rumble prize.

The ECW brand run by WWE was a huge failure when falling apart within the first few months. Rob Van Dam getting busted for having drugs in his car forced WWE to suspend him and lose the ECW Championship to Big Show.

Paul Heyman and Big Show both turned heel by conspiring against Van Dam to steal the title. Big Show did his best as a top heel for ECW, but fans wanted something different from the brand. The turn ended up being pointless for both Big Show and WWE’s version of ECW.

The 2000 face turn of Big Show saw him ditching Shane McMahon shortly after his WrestleMania 2000 main event loss. Big Show turned face by deciding to show off his comedic side to entertain the audience.

Parodies of other wrestlers and characters allowed Big Show to impersonate them with huge ovations. The most memorable impressions saw Big Show imitating Hulk Hogan, Val Venis, and Rikishi to the delight of the viewers.

Big Show losing a match to Mankind landed Vince on his bad side after the match since it meant Mankind would officiate the Austin vs Rock main event. Big Show returned in 2004 following an absence to deal with an injury in grand fashion. The Smackdown star turned face despite playing a heel when he was last on the program. Fans reacted positively to the shocking return of the big man during a battle royal.

WWE booked Big Show with complete dominance to destroy everyone in the ring to a huge ovation from the fan base. Kurt Angle entered a program with Big Show shortly after to give both wrestlers an important program on the blue brand.

3 Pointless: Aligning with Cesaro and Sheamus

The feud between The Bar and New Day saw Big Show getting involved even though it made little sense. Cesaro and Sheamus scored a huge victory over New Day when Big Show interfered on their behalf to unite with them for a short time.

Both sides had three wrestlers to even things out, but New Day ended up outshining the heels. Big Show lost faith in The Bar and turned on them to return to his face side on the way out for another break.

2 Worked: Joining The Authority

One of the most memorable moments of Big Show’s WWE career came at Survivor Series 2014 in the main event. John Cena led a team of faces looking to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon’s Authority team with the control of WWE on the line.

Big Show realized The Authority was gaining momentum and punched out Cena during the match. The shocking moment saw him shaking hands with Triple H to join The Authority where he’d remain for the next few months.

The New World Order joining WWE in 2002 turned out to be a huge disappointment when Hulk Hogan turned face and Scott Hall was fired. WWE tried to save the act by adding other members with Kevin Nash remaining as a leader.

Big Show turned heel to join the nWo for the third time in his career if counting his time in WCW as The Giant. WWE could not figure out a way to save the nWo as it completely flopped following the highly anticipated return. Big Show gained nothing from this heel turn and forgotten chapter of his career.
