Big Show and Shaquille O'Neil were supposed to face off in what was set to be Big Show's final match at WrestleMania this year. It was all but announced a few months ago after the duo had a back and forth on Social Media but now it seems as though WWE have pulled the plug.
Shaquille recently made comments on his podcast stating that the match may not be going ahead as implied.
It is interesting that the match has been talked about for the last few months but it was never officially announced. And now despite how much hard work Big Show has put into training and getting into shape for the match, WWE are not ready to pull the plug.
Shaq said on “The Big Podcast with Shaq:
"It’s not going to happen? That’s probably right. It’s not my fault, that’s all you need to know.
It ain’t my fault… Oh, it ain’t my fault. It don’t matter what they say. It has nothing to do with the Diesel and his management. That’s what I got to say, but, it’s not totally off yet but it’s not looking good.
But it doesn’t matter, I’m still working out and I still look better than Big Show. I’ll still meet him wherever he wants to meet me. These next thirty days, I’m about to go hard. I’m still doing it like it’s going down.”
