At Clash Of Champions on Sunday night, there may not have been a multitude of groundbreaking or marquee moments, but there were certainly some big ones. Chad Gable’s devastating German suplexes, AJ Styles’ brutal Styles Clash to a Singh on the floor, and Mojo Rawley’s finishing punch just to name a few. That’s all in the past now though, and this list is about the ensuing SmackDown Live’s biggest moments. Could they live up to the pay per view 48 hours prior or were Tuesday night’s big moments simply not as big as the ones at the weekend? Read on and decide for yourselves.

5. Aiden English Gets A Face Full

We’re pretty close to a holiday and you know what that means in WWE, costumes and a terrible gimmick match. The victims this holiday season were The New Day and Rusev and Aiden English. All five men clashed backstage while dressed in various different Christmas attires and the altercation led to a match later in the evening. Since they were all dressed up and it’s almost Christmas, there were some pretty hokey moments in the match. New Day emptying Rusev Clause’s Christmas sack was one highlight, but Aiden English suffered a far worse fate. A pile of pancakes and whipped cream that he and Rusev had so carefully set up wound up with English’s face being slammed into them. With English blinded by the cream the door was wide open for Xavier Woods to pick up the win.

4. Naomi Gives Sarah Logan A Kicking

Raw came to a close last night with the announcement that on Jan. 28, 2017,  there will be the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble match. All of Monday night’s women had front row seats to Stephanie McMahon‘s announcement, but let’s not forget that the blue brand’s females will also be included in that match. Some of the women who may be involved came out on SmackDown Live to make their intentions known to current champion Charlotte Flair since they may face off against her if they win the over the top epic. Instead, of standing around hugging and applauding though SmackDown Live’s women actually had a match. As always Naomi was on hand to remind us of her athletic ability. The former champ delivered a litany of kicks to Sarah Logan’s head and the Riott Squad member may have very well forgotten about the Royal Rumble after those strikes.

3. Benjamin And Gable Have A Finisher

Although Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable weren’t successful in their attempts to become Tag Team Champions on Sunday night, the latter was arguably the four-team match’s MVP. Many Superstars, both in the match and watching on, praised Gable’s performance following the matchup. His most impressive feat was the incredible looking German suplexes he was handing out left, right, and center, regardless of the size of his opponents. Well, he doled out a couple more on Tuesday night. He and Benjamin took on The Usos and both twins received massive rolling Germans from the former amateur wrestler. In fact, it was those devastating suplexes that led to the move that would win Benjamin and Gable the match. It seems as if the relatively new team have found themselves a finishing move.

2. A Double DDT For The Singhs

While Jinder Mahal was WWE Champion he had a few different opponents, but no man on SmackDown Live attempted to dethrone The Modern Day Maharajah more often than Randy Orton. During that time, The Singh Brothers helped Mahal keep hold of the title, but they suffered for it in the process. At times, it felt like The Viper was using Sunil and Samir to vent some deeper rooted frustrations. Well the 13 time World Champion got the chance to revisit those feelings on Tuesday night. The Singhs attempted to get involved in the match and Orton was on hand to put a stop to it. The Apex Predator did that by performing his patented DDT on both men at the same time.

1. An Assisted Phenomenal Forearm

The double DDT to Sunil and Samir Singh was just the beginning of the final part of SmackDown Live‘s main event. The exclusion of those two from the match began the momentum for Orton and his team as he, Nakamura and Styles functioned like a well oiled machine. Shortly after that, all three men performed their finishing maneuvers on different opponents, but the most impressive of the three was Styles’ Phenomenal Forearm. While it’s a pretty spectacular looking finisher all by itself, The Viper gave Styles a little extra by pushing him off the ropes to give him more speed and more height. It made a phenomenal move that little bit better and succeeded in removing Kevin Owens from the matchup.
