What an interesting week if you're a WWE fan. From surprising title changes to two WWE Superstars being sent home from the UK tour early due to behavior issues, there's a lot going on and a lot of rumors to address.

Why was Jinder Mahal stripped of the title just days before the Survivor Series pay-per-view? Why was the title given to AJ Styles? What did Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn do that got them in such hot water? Has the Bludgeon Brothers gimmick already been scrapped? John Cena was taken out as a guest referee and added as a wrestler for Survivor Series? Why?

There are so many topics to cover that we can't possibly hit them by listing only five, but we'll do our best. Here are five of the biggest rumors this week in WWE.

5. Bludgeon Brothers Done Before It Begins?

The WWE Universe has been watching their vignettes for weeks and many were eagerly anticipating their debut, but fans may never see the Bludgeon Brothers make it to WWE television. After debuting the new look at a live event on the European tour, there was some negative response to their look. Was that enough to scrap the idea altogether?

Not long after, at another WWE live event in Leeds, England, Harper and Rowan came out in their old Wyatt Family attire to Luke Harper’s original theme song. It could be that nothing's changed, but why go to all that trouble only to have them come back as their old selves?

4. John Cena and AJ Styles Changes Made By Vince McMahon

via wwe.com

PWInsider is reporting that Vince McMahon made the last-minute call to have AJ Styles win the WWE Championship and that he also moved John Cena out of refereeing the match and onto the SmackDown Live Survivor Series team. Both moves were reportedly made as a response to bad ratings on Tuesdays, especially the Halloween episode.

Having the WWE in the UK allowed McMahon to take advantage of the early time zone and spoilers leaking that Styles had won the title. He banked on the fact that people would tune into the show once they realized the WWE Championship would change hands.

3. Jinder Mahal Was Not Seen As a Failed Experiment

While the title change was about ratings Jinder Mahal went public with his distaste for people suggesting that taking the title off of his waist was because WWE saw him as a failed experiment. In an attempt to squash any rumors that he was hurt, got in trouble or is being viewed by WWE as a mistake, Mahal suggested he merely lost to a better man that night and that if he was such a bad champion, why would WWE keep the title around his waist for six months?

2. Jericho and Triple H Are Not Getting Along

Chris Jericho and Triple H might be at odds thanks to the Rock 'n Wrestling Cruise Jericho is putting together and his subsequent commitment to New Japan and their Wrestle Kingdom 12 show.

Jericho asked Triple H if NXT could be involved in the cruise and Triple H declined. Once that happened, Jericho went to Ring of Honor (ROH) and they jumped on board. That didn't sit well with Triple H. Once Jericho felt slighted, he reached out to NJPW to wrestle Kenny Omega. Again, not a move Triple H appreciated.

It is unclear as to how this affects Jericho and future appearances for the WWE, but he's not under contract so he's free to do whatever he likes. WWE is also free to hold a grudge.

1. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn In Hot Water With WWE

It was just recently announced that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were sent home early from the UK tour and due to disciplinary action was taken against the two superstars for going off script and deciding to adlib the end of the segment with New Day on SmackDown Live.

The writers asked McMahon if they could punish them, McMahon approved and they were removed from the tour after the directly disobeyed instruction on how to finish the altercation with The New Day and simply left the ringside area. Rumors are that both Owens and Zayn have been more difficult to work with since Neville and Jimmy Jacobs were removed from WWE. They were all extremely close.
