It's been another hectic week in the WWE with all sorts of widespread rumors that talents are coming and going. Wrestlers are unhappy with their current contracts, writers are being booted out of the company and wrestlers who want to stay are still on the outs with the rest of the locker room.

There are always rumors in wrestling, but recently, it seems like things are beginning to unravel at the seams. What is the next step for some of these WWE Superstars? How will the WWE react?

Here are 5 Biggest WWE Rumors This Week- October 16-23, 2017.

5. Nia Jax Walked Out

After Neville left, there were rumors that other wrestlers were unhappy with the direction of their characters and how their contracts were structured. One of those people was Nia Jax who was granted a leave of absence and may not return until the WWE renegotiates her pay scale.

Jax has some leverage here being the cousin of The Rock and a completely unique female on the WWE roster. It puts WWE in a sticky position if they choose to grant her a new contract or let her sit.

When Kane showed up on Raw this past Monday, it felt completely random and many speculated at what possible reason the WWE could throw him into a feud with The Shield. It felt too odd a choice to make sense.

Word is now that the plan is for The Undertaker to return and feud with Roman Reigns. Kane is simply the intro to that final act and is setting the stage for The Undertaker's return to WWE.

3. Writer Canned For Many Reasons

Talented WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs was let go by the WWE recently for posting a picture of himself posing with the Bullet Club outside a WWE event. While wrestlers like Chris Jericho can understand why the WWE parted ways with Jacobs after a stunt like that, he and others believe there was more to the termination.

Rumors are Jacobs was unhappy and the WWE unhappy with Jacobs. The picture was a way to cross that line and the final straw for the WWE to let him go. It's possible this is true since Jacob's immediately found a home again in Ring of Honor (ROH).

The talk about the nuclear heat Enzo Amore had backstage in WWE had died down recently. After he lost his Cruiserweight Title to Kalisto and took some pretty savage beatings at the hands of the entire 205 Live roster, people figured that maybe Enzo's lessons had been learned. Apparently not.

He's still rumored to be excluded from the locker room and not a part of the "team" in WWE. He's disliked as much now as he ever was and feelings between himself as the rest of the WWE roster is hostile.
