Kenny Omega Considering WWE?

One of the biggest indy stars in wrestling is speculated to be considering WWE and rumors are, with his contract commitment to New Japan coming to an end in January, Kenny Omega might be WWE bound in time for WrestleMania.

A 2017 interview where Omega reveals he'd like to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania before Styles calls it a career in WWE, Omega said:

"The main reason I would go to WWE is because I would love to have a match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania. If I’m being truthful, before AJ hangs it up, and before I start to degenerate as an athlete, I really want to have a big match with him on the biggest stage possible, so that is a career goal of mine."

It is being reported that WWE made a "huge offer" to Omega and this would be a huge get for WWE in the face of Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks starting up All Elite Wrestling. Omega has been a highly-sought after star in wrestling but has often talked down the idea of joining WWE. Could a big payday and a potential match with Styles change his mind?

For what it's worth, the latest news is that WWE and Styles are working on a contract that will last more than one year.

It is not known what role Hogan will play, how the segment will be structured or if this is just a one-time appearance.

Ross and Jericho Involved In All Elite Wrestling

via Forbes

Jim Ross and Chris Jericho will be very involved with All Elite Wrestling, according to sources of rajah.com. Those same sources also say All Elite Wrestling will “go hard” after WWE talent and other personnel as their contracts come to expiration.

It appears no name is off the radar as the promotion will feature a mix of younger wrestlers and legends in the business, including someone like Goldberg who is a name rumored to be on their wish list. The interesting part about all this is the money it will take to secure some of the names involved in them acquiring said talent. Right now, it is speculated that Tony Khan, has fronted the new promotion as much as $100 million to launch of the company and will be using his media connections to try and secure a TV contract. They’re supposedly talking to Time Warner about getting on TBS/TNT.
