The current storyline between Bobby Lashley, Rusev, Lana, and now Liv Morgan has dominated Monday Night Raw for months now. It has become a huge talking point for the WWE Universe, with some fans hating it and others loving it.
With divorces, pregnancies, sex talk, plenty of kissing, a wedding, and just about everything in between, the storyline has been a wild one. It truly has felt like something out of the Attitude Era, which is why it has been so gripping.
But with so much going on between them all each week, it can be tough to keep up with everything. So, within this article, we will provide a timeline for what's taken place in this story, so far.
10 Rusev Returns...Alone
To tell this storyline in detail, you have to start right at the beginning. Rusev and Lana had been gone from WWE television for months, and speculation was starting to appear that the duo might actually be leaving the company.
However, during one episode of Monday Night Raw, Rusev made his triumphant return to defeat Mike Kanellis in a squash match. He came back in unbelievable shape, looking fantastic, but interestingly enough, alone.
Rusev was quizzed about Lana and her whereabouts, and he was very hesitant to speak about his wife and where she might be. But fans didn't have to wait too long for an answer...
9 Bobby Lashley Returns...With Lana
Rusev had managed to get himself a Universal Championship match in the main event of Monday Night Raw, competing against Seth Rollins. However, partway through the title match, Bobby Lashley's music randomly hit.
This was his return from injury during the Raw season premiere, and fans weren't sure what to expect from the Almighty One. However, nobody was expecting what happened next.
Lashley brought out Rusev's wife, Lana! The two of them then stood at the top of the ramp passionately kissing as the WWE Universe was left puzzled over what was happening.
8 King's Court/Crown Jewel
After Bobby Lashley had returned with Lana to frustrate Rusev, things began to escalate quickly between them. They would brawl in a restaurant as Lashley and Lana continued to poke fun at him.
Eventually, Jerry Lawler set up the King's Court with Lana and Rusev as he attempted to solve any issues between them. However, it was clear that things wouldn't work as Rusev was attacked and laid out by Lashley, with him and Lana making out as they stood above Rusev.
The duo would manage to get physical at Crown Jewel as they were part of the Team Flair vs Team hogan match. However, because it was a 10-man tag team match, they didn't quite get to brawl as much as they'd have liked.
7 Pregnancy
As if this storyline couldn't get any more insane, Lana then revealed to the world that she was pregnant, with a "Machka Monster." After having told the world how Rusev was obsessed with sex, this was seemingly the next logical step for the storyline.
WWE wasted no time in making it happen as Lana came out to the ring, announcing her feelings and about the entire situation. When Rusev appeared, she made the claim that she was pregnant with his child.
However, this was all just one big ploy to get Rusev in a vulnerable position. In the end, Bobby Lashley appeared and attacked Rusev, with Lana revealing the pregnancy was fake.
6 Arrested
For several weeks in the storyline, Lana decided to get a restraining order against Rusev in order to keep him away from her. Each episode of Raw before the show, Rusev wouldn't be allowed inside the arena.
However, each week he did manage to sneak in to attack Lashley, which led to him and Lana bringing out some security to have Rusev arrested if he turned up. But this would end up backfiring on them.
Rusev snuck in and got the best of the situation, which led to Lashley losing his mind against the authorities, who arrested him. Lana then opted to slap them, and she ended up in the back of the police car alongside her boyfriend.
5 Divorce Proceedings
This storyline then saw the first-ever live divorce take place on Monday Night Raw as Lana looked to make things official. She and Rusev met inside the ring, with Jerry Lawler once again overseeing the matter.
The two of them continued to take shots at each other as they looked to bring an official end to their time as husband and wife. But of course, things didn't go smoothly, as you would expect.
Despite Lana desperately wanting Rusev to sign the contract to get the divorce, he would only agree to sign the papers if Bobby Lashley agreed to...
4 A Tables Match
After putting Lashley through the table during the divorce contract situation, Rusev got his wish to finally get his hands on Bobby Lashley, one on one. The two of them competed at the TLC PPV in a tables match.
They both worked a very aggressive and entertaining match where they held nothing back. Showing their hate for each other, they brawled all around the ring and ringside area looking to score the victory.
But in the end, with a little help from Lana, it was Bobby Lashley who managed to secure the victory in this match, giving him and Lana a reason to celebrate.
3 The Wedding
So, celebrate they did! The next night on Raw, Lana made the announcement that she and Bobby Lashley were taking their relationship one step further, and they were getting married. Of course, that took place in the middle of the ring in the main event segment of Raw.
If you've seen a WWE wedding before then you will know only too well that this was never going to go well. Both Lana's first husband (not Rusev), and Lashley's first wife came out to interrupt, but it didn't stop there.
Liv Morgan then returned to WWE to join this storyline, claiming that she and Lana had been lovers as well. With Lana and Morgan brawling around the ring, things were made even worse when Rusev popped out of a cake to attack Bobby Lashley, ruining the wedding.
2 Rusev vs Bobby Lashley (Raw)
After finally getting their marriage official the week after, with a much less lavish ceremony, Rusev wanted to congratulate Lashley and Lana. He gave them a present of a photo album, with images from their disastrous wedding taking place.
Rusev then made a challenge to Bobby Lashley for another match, which the former Intercontinental Champion accepted, and that took place on Raw this week. It was a match dominated by the Bulgarian Brute, but in the end, Lashley scored the victory.
Lana once again played her part, distracting Rusev, to which Liv Morgan attempted to level the playing field. However, she ended up getting a drink thrown in her face which led to Lashley gaining the win.
1 Mixed Tag Team Match
Despite Bobby Lashley's victory, that wasn't enough for Lana, as she now wants to deal with the problem of Liv Morgan. Therefore for next week's Monday Night Raw, Lana challenged Liv and Rusev to a mixed tag team match.
Of course, Rusev and Morgan wasted little time in accepting that challenge, and therefore next week the mixed tag team match is going to take place on Raw.
The next chapter of this incredible storyline has already been put in place, and all that remains now is to wonder what might happen next...
