Last week on Raw Booker T seemed to have a week off from uttering nonsense and contradicting himself. The WWE Hall of Famer didn't even say enough that could be considered nonsensical for us to put a list together. Fear not though, Booker is back and so is this list. Whether it was the insertion of Tom Phillips midway through the show or he was simply having a week off last week, the Booker T we know and love returned and Corey Graves had to follow around closely behind him picking up the proverbial pieces as his announce booth colleague just said the first thing that popped into his head without any regard for what it means. Here are five of the best from Booker this week.
5. Who Are You Backing, Booker?
A lot of the time Booker T is so hard to follow because it is almost impossible to tell who he is backing to win the matches that he's calling. He flip flops back and forth but not like a heel announcer might do in an attempt to always be on the side of the eventual winner, but simply because he seems to not be paying attention. This week on Raw Asuka faced her toughest challenge yet on the main roster as she went up against Nia Jax. Booker began discussing the legitimacy of Asuka's streak and how it likely won't be broken any time soon, only to then talk about it being in jeopardy at the hands of Nia Jax almost in the same breath.

4. Look Beyond The Mask
Despite it being a relatively short match, Booker supplied us with a lot of head in hands moments during the Asuka versus Nia Jax match this week. The Empress of Tomorrow made her entrance in the same way that she normally does wearing her mask and with her extremely confident swagger. When she walks to the ring you can tell that there is no doubt in her mind that Asuka believes she is going to win every single night. Corey Graves commented on that, speaking of the confidence that The Empress oozes and she isn't afraid of any opponent. Booker then snapped at his announce colleague asking how he could possibly know that when she has a mask on. Graves replied with three simple words. Body language, Booker.

3. Nepotism In The Balor Club
Some of the best (or worst depending on how you view it) moments involving Booker T's commentary come when he uses a word that he clearly doesn't know the definition of. That seemed to happen during Monday night's main event. While Finn Balor and Seth Rollins went toe-to-toe Booker and the rest of the announce team discussed the newly formed Balor Club. Booker mentioned that there was nepotism going on within the faction's ranks. Umm none of them are related Booker. That means either he doesn't know what nepotism means or Booker believes that Gallows and Anderson really are good brothers.
2. You're Only As Good As Your Last Match
You can really tell when Booker T has zoned out if he starts just rambling and talking in cliches. It didn't take long for that to happen on Monday night as he started doing it during Titus Worldwide's match with The Bar. Last week Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews managed to pull off a shock win against Sheamus and Cesaro. That's why what Booker said about the pair was baffling. The Hall of Famer commented on O'Neil saying that the chairman of the Titus Brand is only as good as his last match. Well that must mean he's pretty good then Booker since his last match was the aforementioned one against The Bar the week before.
1. The Best Since Shamrock
Here we are at the number one spot once again, and it's a doozy. This week Sasha Banks had to go up against Absolution member, Sonya Deville. Deville brings a sense of legitimacy to WWE because of her MMA background. She isn't the first to do so but that doesn't make her any less of a bad ass. Clearly Booker T has been absent for a lot of WWE's recent history. Well he hasn't because he has been employed by the promotion for most of it but this latest comment may have you thinking otherwise. While watching Deville on Monday night Booker labeled her the first legit fighter since Ken Shamrock. There is so much wrong with that comment that we don't know where to begin. Thankfully Graves jumped right in and brought up Brock Lesnar's name. The Beast is pretty legit in most people's eyes wouldn't you say?
