Booker T is said to have offered an explanation of sorts as to why he's on AEW World Champion Chris Jericho's Rock 'n' Wrestling Rager At Sea Part Deux: Second Wave cruise

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer was not present for his usual role on WWE Backstage this week and Renee Young claimed that it was due to the veteran preparing for a potential ring return in Sunday's Royal Rumble.

However, it appears that Booker has been spotted on Jericho's maritime excursion.

According to Wrestling Inc, the Backstage host was booked for the cruise when the line-up was first revealed back in September and the likes of Ric Flair, plus members of the nWo (who will be inducted for a second time on WrestleMania 36 weekend this year) are also present.

"Good Mic Work" Greg Morgan from Good Mic Work Commentaries claimed to have caught up with Booker on the cruise and was told, "because I'm a grown-a** man and can do whatever the f*ck I want" in response to persons questioning his presence given that he's a WWE man.

Too Good To Miss

The 54-year-old is really keen on a Royal Rumble appearance this Sunday and has been talking up the possibility, while he's said to be open to reforming Harlem Heat for a match against The Revival at some point.

So of course, his future is still with WWE and there's no suggestion he could be joining AEW in any capacity. So why pass up on a cruise?
